"Yeah, walk away just like you always do. You're pathetic.", Esmy says while everybody else laughs.
I hate all these girls I don't even know while I still attend this stupid school. I was running late for the bus due to my parents being irresponsible and never bother picking me up. Just as I was about to enter the bus I was startled by Jonathan and the girls that were bugging me at lunch. I don't understand how girls have the nerve to spend so much time out of their life picking on me, if anything I should feel special.
As I stepped off the bus my shoelace got stuck to the door and my next stop was the concrete floor, just great. Getting home is like going to school everyday and getting picked on by Esmy and her group of friends the only thing that brightens up my day is being able to go home and sleep and read my books. I pulled out my phone and noticed that I had 15 missed calls from Robert.
"Hey babe, sorry I was distracted on the bus that I had forgotten to text back." I said.
"And call back!" Robert yelled.
"Baby you can't blame me for being busy I was at school. I don't need any of these distractions I have homework goodbye." I said right before I hung up.
I've gotten used to the arguments with Robert that I now think of it as a daily routine.
Im pretty hungry I could use a snack to motivate me to do this homework. As I was walking downstairs I noticed my mother peeking into my fathers office. What could she be doing?"Yes don't worry I have this all under control I'll just tell her I'm attending a over night work trip in another state or something."
I overhead my dad say into his cellphone. I run back to my room as my mom runs away from my dads office as he's walking out.
"Hey honey I have an overnight work trip and I'll be out of state for a couple days I hope you can handle Carter for these next few days, she's been acting odd lately." My dad told my mom.
I could tell by the look on my moms face that she wasn't buying it she knew exactly what he was up to and so did I.
