Fairy Tail: One-Shots!

Mission. (Gruvia)

It was a beautiful summer day, the sky was clear, the birds were chirping and everything seemed at peace. Many may say that the peace would be taken over by the fighting in the Fairy Tail guild, but today was a surprise for them. At the guild there were some bickering with some of the members, but not big enough to create a huge fight. At the bar of the guild, Fairy Tail's ice-make wizard sipped his ice cold water, using his magic to move the ice. As he enjoyed his drink, Fairy Tail's water wizard, stared at him with affection and amusement.

"My beloved is so cute when he is in a peaceful state!" Juvia said, hearts floating around her.

Gray looked around the guild, seeing that his friend/rival wasn't nor his other team mates.

"Hey Mira, where is Erza, Lucy, Happy, Wendy, Carla and the Pyro?" Gray asked.

"Well Erza went on a S-Class mission on her own. Lucy, Natsu, and Happy went on a mission, I swear I could see Natsu blush. And Wendy and Carla went on a mission with Romeo, with Gajeel and Lily for their guardian." Mira said as she went to put some bottles of alcohol on the shelves.

"Wait, why didn't Wendy, Carla and Romeo ask me to go?" Gray asked, clearly a little upset.

"You know how Gajeel is now, ever since the Edolos thing, he hasn't wanted Wendy to be out of his sight. It's so cute, they act so much like a cute little sister and a overly protective big brother." Mira said with a giggle.

"I guess..." Gray grumbled. "I'm going to go on a mission, okay." Gray stood up and walked over to the request board.

Juvia, using all of her confidence and will, walked over to Gray in a timid and shy way, sporting a red blush.

"G-Gray-sama d-do you think J-Juvia could come along with you?" Juvia said as she tried not to faint from the many images of Gray saving her and them finally being together.

"I don't see why not. We did go on some missions after the GMG's and they went great. No damages so full rewards." Gray said with a tiny smile.

"R-Really G-Gray-sama!" Juvia said, almost squealing in joy.

"Yeah now go pick a mission for us." Gray said while he leaned up against a wall near the board.

"Y-Yes Gray-sama! Juvia will do her best!" Juvia said with a beautiful smile on her face, her cheeks rosy red and tears threating to come out.

Gray froze and stared at Juvia, never in the amount of time they known each other had she looked so beautiful. The way she stuttered and blushed made her absolutely cute, and with that smile it made Gray feel unbelievable joy and happiness inside, knowing that he was the one that caused it. He wouldn't admit it, but he fell for the girl the moment they fought. He loved her compassion and determination, the strive she had to protect her friends made him smile in pride. He also loved just how much he knew she would always be with him, by his side, where he wanted her to be, but the feeling of guilt and sadness filled him. He lost his parents, Ul, and Ultear, he couldn't lose her too, So he made a ice shell around his heart, but just her being around him started to melt it. He craved to be able to hold her, to kiss her, to make her his, but the thought of losing her was to much. But he'll be damn if someone dared hurt her, that time when he almost died protecting her, made his world almost crumble, he swore with his life, that he will live on, protecting her and her happiness, he'll do anything to see that beautiful smile on her face, just for him, and him only. His thoughts were broken by her voice.

"Gray-sama! Juvia found a perfect mission, all we have to do is defeat some thugs and the reward is one hundred thousand jewel." Juvia said with a joy filled smile on her.
