Sandy: I'm going back to Australia, I won't see you again.
Danny: Don't talk that way Sandy.
Sandy: But it's true. I've had the best summer of my life. Now I have to go away.It isn't fair.
Danny kisses Sandy deeply.
Sandy: Danny don't spoil it.
Danny: Sandy it's only making it better.
Sandy: Danny is this the end?.
Danny: Of course not. It's only the beginning.
-MONICA-
Monica is arriving to the Rydell high school and a T-Bird Nicholas "Cole" Reese approaches her.
Monica: "Uninterested". Hey Cole.
Cole: "Smirks". Hey Mon. So Junior year.
Monica: "Sarcastically". For you.
Cole: Get outside on the wrong side of the bed this morning?.
Monica: "Uninterested". No I'm a Sophomore stuck here till 1961.
Cole: "Pats her shoulder". Don't worry sugar. You'll make it thru.
And with that Cole leaves to meet up with his friends Doody, Sonny and Putzie. Doody takes Sonny's lunch and passes it to Putzie who throws it back to Doody and then falls in a bush.
Doody: You don't eat this. You bury it.
Sonny: "Takes it". That's a home made lunch.
Putzie: Your old lady drag her carcass out of bed for you?.
Sonny: She does it first day of school.
Doody: Big deal.
Cole: "Seeing Kenickie". Kenickie!. Over here!.
Kenickie: Where you at?.
Doody: We're right here.
They bump shoulders with Kenickie.
