Kristen's POV
Everyone outside was trick or treating in the night as i looked out the window. I kept it shut for safety reasons. A lot of parents were outside with their children and the tv was saying to keep watch for your children during halloween and to not get them into any trouble... so I did the same thing, I'm not someone who celebrates it to be honest.
I walked away from the window after enough watching and went upstairs to the second floor and then went into my bedroom. For some reason the door was open even though I was sure I kept it closed, though I thought it was just the wind as the window was open too.
I closed both of them once I got into my room until suddenly I heard some rustling in my closet.
????????'s POV
I was hiding in this girl's closet for a few minutes now. Though I had to move every few minutes now. It was so hot under this cotton-filled mask and so dark in this closet, it didn't even have a light switch or anything, and even if it did, I couldn't just turn it on and let the girl see me. I moved around to get some fresh air around this closet and to loosen my joints a bit, until I realized I lightly hit my head against a coathanger. It didn't hurt though due to the mask being a layer of protection. Though I heard some footsteps coming this way... aghh. Now or never I guess. I got into position as the closet door opened.
Kristen's POV
I screamed as I noticed the stranger with blue jeans, a black hoodie, and a ruined fox mask in my closet as he charged to me to grab my neck lightly and then pushed me with him while he was still walking forward. I hooked him in the face as he then let go of his grasp and I walked out my bedroom and down the stairs to find something to defend myself with. Though while I was walking down the steps, the stranger pounced on me from above as we both fell down the stairs. We both rolled down the steps, getting hurt equally so I could assume, struggling against each other... though the stranger didn't even try to hurt me seriously, as though he wasn't trying to give me an injury, or ticket to death... he was on top of me, and I was merely below him. But he was easily getting tired out, I could tell due to the slow panting underneath his mask.
"Ah, it's fockin' hard to breathe under this thing..." He said as he revealed his own identity. I was surprised to see who was behind all of this...
Michael's POV
I had to take off the mask. My ventilation was going loose. Like I were to flatline. Kri's punch was a part of that problem, too... straight to the face, even with a mask on. But I'll make sure to try getting an actual mask this time, not the head of a stuffed animal that my crybaby brother has. But what was happening right now? Well, I have my girlfriend pinned down to the ground of her own house, I tried playing a Michael Myers kind of prank on her that she took seriously, and I've scared her to death... though we were both playfighting and we were both tired and... yeah, I kinda got hurt. But god, she looked beautiful at this angle.
"Do not do that ever again, Michael! You scared me to death!" She exclaimed as she pushed me up and away from her, though I still had an opportunity that just opened when she said those words. "And yet you're still safe and sound... why do you lie?" I said with a chuckle to aid.
Kristen's POV
I laughed with him. We both stared at each other with affection, and some visible exhaustion. Not only is it late, but we did work each other up. After a while, I quickly hugged him. I felt relieved that I wasn't gonna get hurt by some random serial killer, but rather just get jumped by my beloved. I guess I better joke along with him, now. I twirled his short fluffy hair around my finger as I rested my head on his shoulder, giggling a bit before delivering the line. "But enough tricks.. I want my treat."
