(im currently re-reading escaping peril, and felt bad for her so i made her a friend:) )

Backstory: Embers egg had 2 dragonets in it, and as soon as it hatched, her mother wanted nothing to do with her. Sulphur (her mother. idk about her name. ill probably change it, so if you guys have any suggestions for a grumpy, mean-ish, firescale-dragon-hatting skywing mother, please let me know in the comments :D) didn't want the queen (scarlet) to know that she had such a disgraceful monster of a daughter, so she ordered her eldest (and only other daughter) to go and kill both the dragonets that hatched. Even though Embers brother wasn't a firescale, he was an odd colour, with no fire at all (basically what happened to sky with his sister absorbing all his fire and you know the rest...). the reason why she had her elder daughter kill the dragonets is because she didn't want anyone seeing her with them. (i haven't really got a name for the older sister, so once again: any suggestions? (i could probably find a name, but i wanna see if you guys have anything up your sleeves name-wise). the eldest daughter 'agreed' and took the job, scooping up her siblings in their shell before taking them away somewhere secret and not crowded. not wanting to kill her siblings, she check no-one was looking and fled with the twins still in the egg shell. (sorry, this is kinda turning into a short story mixed with a back story... not the best thing.. but just go with it :)). for (almost) 10 years?, she's been taking care of her twin siblings, far away form any of the rivalling queens and judgmental dragons, and awful parents.
other: when in her egg, just like Peril, Ember absorbed all of Topaz's (the brother, but once again the name space is open if u guys have any better suggestions... ) fire. but were Topaz lacks in fire, he makes up for in fire-proof scales. when all the fire / flame was taken away from him, he developed scales that could withstand more fire and stuff than even a mudwing with a blood-red egg could, as he needed to stay alive in his egg. but because of this, Ember's scales aren't as hard / strong as the average skywing. still really hard, but not like all the other dragons (idk if i should keep this disadvantage / flaw tho... i mean, she needs some flaws, so i thought i could give one twin fire-proof scales, and the other weaker scales, but if you guys (once again) have any suggestions for flaws and stuff...) the older sister loves both her siblings, even though she cant touch one, and the other doesn't have any fire. she thinks its stupid to judge others for what they can't control, especially when you haven't taken the time to get to know them.

--> after meeting peril (i'm still working on how they meet) she and Ember become really good friends, both overjoyed about the fact that they can touch another dragon.
--> Ember and Topaz both attend jade mountain. (now Peril can finally share a cave with another dragon! i felt really bad for her whilst i'm reading her book, so this makes me happy :)) the twins have never really been separated for too long, so when they were sorted into different winglets, it took some adjusting... also, the students and literally every dragon in Pyrriah took some time to... adjust to the fact that 2 firescales existed. things eventually die-down a bit as everyone (kinda ) excepts this/gets use to it. lots of dragons still don't like them, but its not as bad as it use to be. Ember and Peril still have to be very careful, but they're glad they have each other (i know that sounded a bit sappy, but i'm kinda getting tired rn but refuse to stop because usually i'm not very motivated to write, so, in the nicest way possible, deal with it! :))
authors note: YES GUYS, I KNOW THIS IS A LONG CHAPTER (well, longer than my other one...), IM JUST (finally) FEELING IN THE MOOD TO WRITE SOMETHING :D
also, im sorry if my oc twin resemble sky and peril to much. i wanted it to be different, but having Topaz as a male just fitted better...
(just some stuff about the family (names) that's not to important: (also, may make things a little less confusing in my poorly written chapter...?) (also, yes, i do pair my oc's up with other dragons/ give them crushes. sorry if any of u guys don't like that. its just something i do... )

mean? judgemental, cares about status and wealth? idk. was kinda loyal to scarlet...?, doesn't really like dragonets too much, especially after what happened with her dragonets, kinda prickly personality?
twin brother: Topaz
Topaz later on joins jade mountain academy, where he develops some feelings for a female seawing... (once again, still working out the details)
older sister: Robin (name idea from @tiahokoura) (heh, Robin is the name of one of my human oc's XD)
after finally coming out of hiding with her siblings, she meets a male skywing (somewhere/somehow. like i said, this is a work-in-progress. ) whilst Ember and Topaz are at Jade mountain. (he also needs a name- he's nice, caring, isn't exactly thrilled with flamescales, idk how else to describe him, kinda easy going?,
father: deceased - died in a battle? idk
i literally just thought of the father, so he has nothing bout him yet XD (tho he might need a name...so... comments! -_- sorry guys. i haven't got all this full prepared...) im thinking the father wasn't to mean, (but he would not have liked a firescales for a daughter...), kinda kind?, idk. suggestions are open :)
(also, if i think of anything else to add to the story / oc, then i will (probably) try to update it :D)
im also open to any suggestions about characters in this/personality traits/names/anything :D
