The exploding bombs rattle the foundation, and Hearless can barely keep her balance as they go off. "If I stay in here, I'm going to die from the damn roof collapsing in on me." She thought as she headed for the exit, but changed her mind when another bomb struck even closer. Fuck it out of the window, it is. She ran to the window and jumped through it. "This was a mistake, agghh." She didn't realize the height of the window and saw that she was jumping from the 3rd floor. She slammed into a bush that slowed the fall but left her bruised. She crawled out of the brush and rushed into the open, seeing the chaos of the scene. She saw black smoke rising above the base, ships in the harbor slowly sinking to the holes blowing in them, and fires across the harbor from oil leaking from the sinking vessels.

She looked around, seeing the destruction, and rushed to a group of women seemingly with metal contraptions on their backs. Some looked at her with confusion, others with a bit of suspicion. She ran by them, entering an old warehouse, finding tools and gear for repairing ships. "I can help in the aftermath, but I better get prepped." She started to clean the tools and put on the old gear when suddenly a bomb slammed through the roof and slammed into the concrete without going off. She glanced at it before realizing what she saw and shaping to look at it before backing away and out of the building. Suddenly, she sees more aircraft in the air, these looking more familiar to her. "spitfires?" She sees a unicorn on an actual flying horse with a different metal contraption on her, and suddenly she sees more aircraft appear. "How the fuck?" Suddenly, she sees a huge white fox appear, replacing an aircraft carrier, slashing at the unicorn, causing her to crash to the ground. She sees more of the girls seemingly trying to defend her when a blue plane comes in and drops a bomb on the fox's head. Another aircraft comes in. "Is that a person sitting on top of the plane?"

She watches the woman jump from the plane and onto the back of the fox and suddenly loses sight of her. "Well, that was something." With a flash of fire and light, the fox vanishes, only leaving three figures in the distance. Hearless looks away for a moment to look for more tools and looks back. Suddenly, only one was left—the one that was on the plane. "Who in the hell is she?" suddenly she feels a hand on her shoulder, and she looks back to see Wales. "Shit,", "come with me," Wales said, and she started to walk off, hearless, being driven by her shoulder.

Soon they meet with Illustrious again in the office, who looks worried. "Why didn't you stay put?" Hearless signs back to Illustrious: "I thought the building was going to collapse, so I left for safer shelter." Illustrious takes this into consideration and starts to talk with Wales with both their backs facing her. Cleveland stood in the corner, flipping through damage reports and other papers with a grim look and giving a small sigh. Hearless stood up and looked at the list from the side, seeing several familiar names of ships. "Uh, I worked on a lot of these ships. Hell, there's San Diego holy shit, that's some bad damage reported" She looked up to Cleveland, her face clear enough for Cleveland to understand "I don't know how we can get them all back to sailing order; most of these seem to be beyond basic repair; a lot of them seem to be in a state of needing an overhaul", Hearless gave a mock sigh as she saw the next page list of ships needing repair.

Hearless suddenly remembers the bomb in the warehouse and runs to Wales, tapping her shoulder and pointing at it through the window. Wales seems confused by this and asks, "Why are you pointing at that warehouse?" Illustrious decides to step in and signs, "Okay, try to calm down and explain what the issue is." Hearless tries to, but her signs are sloppy in her panic: "bomb, warehouse danger." Illustrious saw this, and her eyes widened in surprise. "Get a bomb disposal group to that warehouse now." Wales didn't even question it and made a call. "Now that's over with, we should find a place for you to stay as we can't exactly return you to the Eagle Union mainland right now, and Vestal won't be here for a little while," Wales said in thought. "How about she rooms with the royal navy?" illustrious asked, "Perhaps but she is an Eagle Union citizen and a civilian at that," Wales responded, "she can room with me till Vestal is ready with a room and a job." illustrious offered, "I guess we can hire her as a civilian contractor for repairs, and that works for now," wales said as she pulled some papers together.

A few hours later Hearless is seen near the water looking at the ships that haven't been towed to dry dock suddenly an explosion rocks the harbor "I guess that didn't go well" she thought to herself as she sees the warehouse collapse from within, "that place had some good tools as well" she thought a little annoyed from the loss of tools, "well at least those can be replaced easily, unlike people or ships" she thought to herself as she looked about the harbor soon noting the lack of men here "weird maybe they are just somewhere else" she thought as she decided to walk about the harbor illustrious keeping an eye on her grab her by the shoulder stopping Hearless and turned Hearless to face herself "please try to stay near me" illustrious, signed with a pleading look. Hearless nods and just sits down nearby, still looking around and seeing the oddities of the base.
