In the soft embrace of an early morning's first light, Ji-Hoon and Eun-ji sat on their favorite swing in the balcony, their gazes fixed on the horizon. The gentle sway of the swing seemed to mirror the rhythm of their thoughts, as they contemplated their son's life. He was a mature 28-year-old now, and the weight of their expectations for his future rested on their hearts.
Ji-Hoon, a silver-haired man with wisdom etched into his kind eyes, broke the tranquil silence. "Eun-ji, our son has always been a blessing. From the moment he took his first steps, I knew he was special. Remember
when he insisted on saving a bird with a broken wing when he was just eight?"Eun-Ji, a woman whose grace and warmth were as enduring as her love for her son, smiled as the memory played before her. "Yes, honey, I remember. He cared so deeply,
so genuinely. And when he won that science competition at twelve, and the way he proudly explained his project to us..."Ji-Hoon nodded, his eyes
shimmering with pride. "That's our boy, jagi.Always responsible, always compassionate. And when he chose to help at the community center throughout his teens instead of
partying with friends... I've never been more proud."Eun-ji's gaze remained fixed on the
morning sun. "Our son is indeed remarkable. It's time we think about his future, Honey. He deserves someone special, just like him."With a determined nod, Ji-Hoon reached for Eun-ji's hand, the years of shared memories and their son's unwavering character giving them the resolve they needed. "You're right, Jagi. Let's take it upon ourselves to find the perfect match for him.
After all, he deserves nothing but the best."As the sun bathed them in its early morning glow, the decision was made, and the loving parents embarked on a new journey, determined to ensure that their son's future was as bright and beautiful as the dawn of
that day.Ji-Hoon (gently): "Eun-Ji, it's time to wake him up. Go to him and get him ready for the
office."Eun-ji, a loving and devoted mother,
nodded and quietly made her way to her son's room. The soft morning light filtered in through the curtains, revealing her son'speaceful form as he slept. She approached
him and softly called his name.Eun-ji (softly): "Baby, it's time to wake
up, sweetheart."??? (whining): "Mmm, just a few more
minutes, Mom..."Eun-ji couldn't help but smile at her son's sleepy protests. She reached out to gently stroke his hair, the warmth of their bond filling the room.
Eun-ji (tenderly): "You know you can't be late for the office again, Tae baby. You have an important meeting today."
(So the person who was sleeping peacefully is non other than Kim Taehyung.. The only Son of Kim Ji-Hoon and Kim Eun-ji...
And now onwards I'll use Mr Kim for Ji-Hoon
and Mrs. Kim for Eun-ji.... I hope you guys won't be confused!)Tae, still half-asleep: "I know, I know. But Mom, the bed is so comfy."
Mrs. Kim chuckled, her eyes filled with maternal affection. She had seen her son grow from a boy into a responsible man, but moments like these made her heart swell
with love.Mrs. Kim, (playfully): "Oh, Tae baby, you'll never change, will you?"
Tae, (grinning): "Not when it comes to your wake-up calls, Mom."
As she coaxed him out of bed, Mrs. Kim couldn't help but feel grateful for the enduring bond she shared with her son. Their conversations, however mundane, were always filled with love and warmth, reminding her of the incredible journey they'd
taken together.Upstairs, Tae had just finished his refreshing morning shower. He stepped out and saw that his mother, had neatly laid out his suit
for the important meeting.Tae (to himself): "Mom's always one step ahead."
Tae sprayed his favorite cologne, the scent filling the room, and then made his way downstairs. As he descended, he heard the familiar sounds of the kitchen and his mother's laughter. The warm aroma of dishes wafted through the air, making his
mouth water. He entered the dining area to find the table beautifully set with dishes that were his favorites: kimchi, bulgogi, and bibimbap. A smile spread across his face, appreciating the effort his mother put into preparing his
preferred breakfast.Tae, (warmly): "Good morning, Mom. This looks amazing."
Mrs. Kim beamed with pride, delighted that her son appreciated her cooking.
Mrs. Kim: "Good morning, baby. I made your favorites. I know you have a big day ahead."
Mr. Kim, descended the stairs and joined them at the table. Tae greeted his father with a warm hug and a hearty "Good morning."
Tae (warmly): "Good morning, Dad."
Mr. Kim: "Morning, Tae. Ready for your meeting today?"
A business-related conversation began between father and son as they discussed the day's agenda. The family shared a loving breakfast, a mix of tradition and modernity, the aroma of the dishes and the sound of
their voices creating a comforting
atmosphere that encapsulated the heart of their home.As the Kim family enjoyed their traditional South Korean breakfast, Mrs. Kim suddenly remembered something.
Mrs. Kim, (with a playful grin): "Oh, I can't believe I almost forgot, I made your favorite bindaetteok."
She started to get up from her seat, but before she could, Tae intervened.
Tae, (warmly): "No, Mom, it's okay. You sit here; I'll get it."
He walked towards the kitchen, his mother's words warming his heart. In the brief absence of their son, Mr. Kim turned to Mrs. Kim with a loving expression.
Mr. Kim, (quietly): "Eun-Ji, now might be the right time to talk to him about marriage. He's 28, and we should consider the idea of an arranged marriage. But first, we should find
out if he has someone special in his life."As Tae returned with the bindaetteok, his mother couldn't hide her curiosity any longer.
Mrs. Kim, (gently): "Tae, we've been thinking. You're at that age where you should consider marriage. Is there someone special in your
life?"To be continued.....!!
