<Astrid's POV>
There I sat, shivering In the freezing dungeons with the sound of silence painfully loud. I glanced down at my watch for the fifth time in the space of a minute. '11:19' it read. Teachers weren't technically meant to be in there classes until 11:20 but all the other teachers arrived before their students. I sighed before glancing at the boy sitting next to me. I knew Blaise Zambini rather well- half of the reason due to Quidditch, the other half was that he was friends with Mattheo who (no doubt) was my best friend.
He noticed my glancing at him and chuckled lightly, "see something you like, love?" He asked, leaning on his arm. A large smirk was etched across his square face as he asked this.
I rolled my eyes and scoffed lightly, "oh please- I'd rather date the giant squid than you." Blaise was a nice boy- but a horrid flirt, and a big one at that.
He laughed at my Comeback, "aw, did I hit a nerve?" Blaise asked-not seeing professor Snape slowly enter the room and scowl as he sees Blaise continue to smirk at me. "Don't worry love I wouldn't do anything in class-" he got cut off by Snape slamming the 'advanced potion making' book (which we were studying) on our desk directly infront of Blaise.
Blaise looked up at Snape- his face was red and he sat up straighter. Snape's charcoal-colored eyes pierced Blaise's chocolate brown ones. "No talking." Snape spoke slowly and In a warning tone.
Snape walked away from our desk- a scowl still upon his face as he now opened his attention to all of the class, "Turn to page 278- read the next three chapters" he said opening his lips only slightly so words could come out. "in silence." he glanced back at me and Blaise- shooting a deathly look at us.
The rest of the lesson went by rather smoothly. Snape however, kept shooting daggers at Blaise with his eyes at everything he did. I packed up in silence. Blaise was not daring to speak again.
