Chapter 17

Roseanne's Pov

Feeling the coldness of the air hit my skin, I opened my eyes to a pair of hand holding both sides of my tummy, kissing and whispering on it. A small smile formed unknowingly on face. I didn't move, not wanting to give her any hint that I'm awake already. I just want to cherish and watch this moment since anytime soon, our little bundle of joy will finally see the outside world. I'll definitely miss this stage although it honestly sucks and hard to carry for 9 whole months.

A pair of brown cat-eyes met mine. She smiled and sat up, greeted me a good morning giving me a kiss on my forehead.

"You don't have any work?" I asked curiously. It's almost lunch, she's late.

"I am the boss honey. I can go there anytime I want, anytime I please. And besides, I need to be by your side all the time from now on. You can't leave my sight. You're almost due honey. So don't you dare utter a word about it." She said using her bossy tone on me which made my eyes roll.

"I'm hungry, get up. I'll cook" I said, cupping her mandu cheeks I badly hope that our daughter  will have.

"Are you serious? You'll cook for me? Woah, this is the first time, yeah?" I saw her eyes shine. I nodded and slowly got up.

She married me right away after that incident in her secret room. Of course, who am I to say no? Aside from the fact that I can give my daughter a complete family I never had, I'll marry the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

"You're so beautiful, honey. I'm falling for you each day"

"I'm ugly."

"Who said that? Drop the names, I'll teach them a lesson"

"I looked like a swalloed a whole ass watermelon"

"Well uhm.. Yet you're sexy and beautiful"

I lay down comfortably again as the insecurities hit me once more.

"Hey, stand up. I thought you're gonna cook for me?" My handsomely beautiful wife said with her hands crossed on her chest

"Are you in a hurry? Is there a cab waiting for you outside boss?" I said teasing her. She immediately pout when I called her boss

"Never mind, I'll go back to sleep" Jennie was about to lay down again, but then I opened my mouth.

"Love.." She looked to me directly to my eyes but then turned her back on me when a smile formed on her lips, her face meeting with a pillow then I heard her muffled squeal. I laughed, she looks like she's a teenager who got noticed by her crush.

A pain then hit me, followed by liquid gushing on my thighs.

"Love?"

"Did you just pee? Wait there, I'll grab a towel alright? It's fine honey"

I glared at her, but I think karma hit me when the pain starts to be unbearable "fuck you, I'm on labour bitch"

"You're on what!?" Jennie screamed like she woke up the whole village.

"Shut up. You're not deaf not to heard what I said, aren't you?"

"Stop being sassy honey, you're already on a fucking labour, which means you'll be delivering our princess soon enough I'll finally see her, hold her. Like oh my god." I watched Jennie as she paced back and forth, then running towards the door "Yuna make sure the nursery' extremely clean"

"The bag's in the closet, right? Right. The pink ones, obviously yeah. Uhm, ah.. Shit I think I'll pass out. Fuck! Fuck!" Once she had the baby bag and my bag, she ran down the stairs. Panicking. I chuckled as I rolled my eyes.

Did she just forget about me?

A panting Jennie were revealed "I'm sorry, I forgot about you. I'm panicking"

"You aren't the one who'll deliver this baby, Jennie. Can you calm down and inform our OBGYN aka your sister about this?"

"I've done it already. We're good to go. How about I carry you? Yeah? It's dangerous, you might slip on the stairs.. Or.. Or anything"

"With your height? You'll carry me? Ha, funny" shocked, she swept me up and walk slowly down the stairs. She's unbelievably strong with her mini size height.

"Drive faster! I don't want to give birth on a car. Or else I'll name your daughter after this!"

"Porsche will be a great name too"

"No! Honda" I said followed by a loud scream.

"Drive faster, Jaehyun. I don't want my daughter to name after that. And honey, I don't own any Honda, just to inform you"

"Do I look like I care!? Just go to the hospital and get this thing out of me"
