The chains that bound the jester will forever stick no matter what, even if he succeeds in breaking that chain, it will reform. The illusion of emotions will forever haunt him, just like the illsuion of that man. The 'feeling' of guilt will be his burden to bear once he comes to face with this fact. He is a being of this world, meaning he will forever 'feel' somthing in his heart even if its nothing. This is the curse of existing. The curse of being. Kyola hates it but can no longer deny it for there is no escape to these illusions. 

"No escape.. , its true is'nt it?"

The jester stars into the pitch dark sky, his heart still aching from the memories he had with the ravenette. Finally he understands, the truth behind them. Love was never wanted in the first place but it was forced into their hearts. Despite the lovely feeling, it was only another complication for the both of them, to the ravenette this feeling stopped him from his plans and forced him the need to be with the other and to Nikolai it was another chain bounding him, forceing him to stay. Though in the end neither of them truly confront the other before their downfall came to be. The death of the demon Fyodor and later on the missing reports of the bird Nikolai. Both of them felt the need to stay with another but wanted the oppisate.

The sad end of the secret love and possibly the rebirth of a new one?
