Chapter 3

Addison's POV

We arrive at the attending's lounge where Meredith breaks down again in my arms. "Hey Mer it's okay just let it all out."

"Meredith let's go get our kids and go to your house." "Y-yeah i'm sorry for the tears A-Addie" Mer says.

We go down to the daycare after we changed. We grab Ellis and Henry as they are here. Amelia is picking up Zola and Bailey after school.

We arrive At Meredith's dream house and settle Ellis for her nap.

Meredith's POV

"Addison would you like to see the letter." "Yeah sure" Addie says.

I go and grab the letter I found and give it to it to Addie.

Addie starts to tear up as she also see's it's a month before he died.

"A-Addie are you okay ?"

"Y-yeah just hard, hurts I know how you feel. I will be with you all the way through this. Addie explains."

"Addie I want to go through this. I want to have another of Derek's babies. He wanted a big family and I know we would have if he was here with us."

"It's okay Mer only if your sure but I will advise professionally to do therapy and on a friends point I'll be there all 9 months as your very high risk based on previous pregnancies" Addie explains.

"That's fine Addie I want you all the way through too. I don't think I could do it alone again. I hid Ellis away from everyone till we came home.

"You will have me and your sister's with you all the way. I am pretty sure you will also have all Grey-Sloan being there. We are your family" Addie says.

"Thank you would you like some lunch and to look for a school for Henry to attend here."

"Yes sure and I could put him in with Zola and Bailey."

*They eat lunch together*

"Addie do you remember what you said at the elevators when I was talking to Derek."

"Oh yes, I do. I think I said well isn't this cosy can I join in or are you not into threesomes."

"Yes Addie and then I left. But I did watch you guys from the stairs. Derek never told me what he said to you then."

"Well he called me satan because he hated that he had two beautiful women he was playing around with."

"That's true then you ended up leaving Seattle for LA."

"I love how we can talk like this now Addie."

"I love how you still support me through everything Addie."

*Later in the day when Amelia brings Zola and Bailey back*

"Hi Amelia thanks for picking up the kids. I've just been so emotional today."

"Me and Addie been talking about how we met."

They explained to Amelia how funny it is how Derek fort over them.

Amelia laughs and asks do they have plans for Halloween 🎃 with the kids.

"Amelia I've not thought about it but I will ask Zola and Bailey and see what they would like to do. Addie Henry could borrow something we have if you want to or we can go to the store.

"Mer it's okay I'm sure Henry will be happy with anything for Halloween 🎃." Addie explains.

"Zola, Bailey come here for a moment please." Meredith shouts to kids.

"Okay mommy, we are coming." Zola and Bailey respond.

"Zola and Bailey what would you like to do for Halloween 🎃 this year ?"

"Can we dress up and go trick or treating with Ellis and Henry please mommy." Zola says.

"I can sort that for you. What do you want to dress up as Zola? Meredith asks.

"Can I wear my wings daddy repaired for me please." Zola asks getting a bit teary.

"Yes that will be fine Zola. Come here and give me a hug. Would you like to help me pick out for Bailey and Ellis." Meredith asks.

"Yes mommy I would like to help." Zola replies.

"Okay you can go off to play now Zola and Bailey." Meredith tells them.

"Okay Amelia we are trick or treating. Do you want to get the sweets or cupcakes to give out to help please." Meredith asks.

"We can ask Maggie to help out." Meredith says.

"I will see if can do it at the old house that Alex is living in now so we have people near." Meredith explains.

"Yeah that sounds good also close to work." Addie and Amelia say.

"I'll see what Henry wants to be later he's enjoying playing." Addie explains.

"That's fine. Addie what will you dress up as ?"
Meredith asked.

"Urm I don't know maybe Satan." Addie smirks. 😏

"That would work ways. You are named it and I think you could pull it off as Satan anyway." Meredith says with a smirk .😏

"I was thinking maybe I should dress in pink or salmon coloured scrubs for the day and do some obstetrics and gynaecology." Meredith explains.
