My graduation

George's POV

Today was the day I officially graduated from university. With all my set backs I was amazed how I had managed to be able to graduate with great grades. Of course I told Dream and Sapnap and they were extremely proud of me, that made me extremely happy. I haven't face revealed to them yet but I have told them my full name. I obviously have talked to them once or twice after I voice revealed but other than that I haven't talked much. I only typed.

I messaged them before the ceremony to say that I was going in and I wouldn't be able to respond for a good hour. 

I knew my family were going to be there but that's all the people I knew that would be there. I didn't talk to anyone at all during my lessons. I told the teacher my fear and he made sure to take care of me and make sure I didn't need to do unnecessary talking. Which I was so grateful for. I was certain he would be there but I didn't know for a fact. I only had my online friends I didn't have any real life friends saying I struggled aot to make friends because of my fear.

Unlike normal the ceremony was in person which freaked me out but again I limed because it was normal to graduate uni in person and not over a screen. I walked up to the building and walked in. I was super nervous about this. 

I walked into the hall with my cap and gown. All the graduates were told to arrive early and sit in the front row. So no one except my fellow graduates were here. I got told to sit in a certain seat and so I did. I sat there while they went through what was going to happen.

We were going to sit in these seats and they will call out our names one by one and we would go up the stairs and on to the stage. We would get our certificates pose and go down the stairs back to our seats. Then they would do a whole presentation of our journey throughout our whole school lives. We had to send photos in for that but the rest of the photos from earlier in our education were provided by our old schools. Then there would be a speech and after that we were free to go. All the graduates, including me, decided to take a few photos after the ceremony was over. Then the university would take a photo of us throwing out caps in the air and they would put it in the yearbook which was handed to us at another ceremony for the ones who took two degrees. I'd you didn't you would get yours mailed. I had 2 degrees. One in computer science and one in coding (A/N I don't know if they exist put just pretend they do) I had my computer science ceremony today and then in a few days I would have my coding one. They were Both a massive deal for me. 

Once they went over everything we had a trial run to make sure we knew what we were doing. 

Once that was over I heard people crowd in. I didn't bother to look because I was so nervous and I didn't want people to think the wrong thing of me. I also avoided looking at how many people were coming in because I knew that would trigger some sort of panic attack since I get them a lot during these types of events. 

Once everyone was settled down and comfortable, the head teacher started talking.

"Hello we are all gathered here to celebrate these amazing students who have came to the end of their education here at St Leo's university, we are so proud of them all. Today it is everyone who took computer science. I want to say a big well done to these certain students who have defined all obstacles getting in their way.

These students have had a lot of barriers such as fears and learning disabilities and they have managed to graduate with excellent grades. I am so proud of everyone not just these students but also everyone that I didn't say. Now let's get to the awards. Every teacher has selected 3 students from their class to get an extra award for being so incredible in their class. These people for computing science is...

Now there still is 1 last award to give out and that's from the head of the department and they will present it." Omg that speech was long. I was disappointed I didn't win an award but I don't mind I think everyone who got one deserved one

"Hello, I am the head of computing science and I want to give out a special award to one person who has caught my eye this year. Even though they had fallen behind after being incapable of communication, they still tried to do their best and I am so proud to see them here today. I know this is a big deal to them because they worked so hard to get here. This is why I present this special award to none other than....

George Davidson"

No way. He just gave me an award. I walked up the stage and collected my trophy before taking a minute to pose and walking back down. I sat back in my seat.

Here we go another long and dreadful speech.

"Thank you for presenting that award. Well done to all the recipients today. You have all done well even if you haven't won an award. Let's get on with the actual ceremony.

We all walked up one by one like we rehearsed and then we stood got a photo and walked off the stage and back to our seats. Wow that was hard.

After all the very cringe presentation and everything we went back to the field and got photos. We all got a group one and then some people wanted a photo with me and I said yes. I got photos with other people after I asked someone to help me communicate to the others.

Once we were done we headed into the hall and met up with our families and friends however I saw three people I wasn't expecting...
