Prologue:

Louis POV-

When he told me everything that night, his feelings, emotions, stress, jealousy, I never thought I would feel the same

*~FLASHBACK~*

"Louis?!" He yelled out over the pounding music

"WHAT?!"

"We need to talk." Barely audible

He took hold of my arm in his massive hands, big as baseball gloves, and leads me outside by the pool.

"What did you want to talk about?" Now that I could finally hear.

'I need to tell you everything.." He says in a whisper.

*What's with him? He's never this quiet, not even around girls!*

"Well, spit it out then..." Rushing to find out what he has to say.

"Louis William Tomlinson..I..I THINK I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!" He yells breaking out of his shell, startling me.

*Did he just..no..what?*

I realize that I hadn't said anything, just sitting there in shock that my best mate confessed HIS love for me.

"I knew you'd be like this..I know i probably shouldn't have told you..it's just that I have for a long time and Zayn just told me that I should just go for it..I'm sorry..forget it" He gets up to leave, me still processing what just happened.

Harry's POV-

*ugh I knew I shouldn't have told him..I knew he wouldn't know what to do..dammit Zayn*

I stood up to release the tension and leave him to think.

"WAIT!" He yells, startling me. I turn to face him.

"I may not have the same feelings, but we can work this out." He says trying to fix things. I wish he knew how much it broke me to see him love Eleanor the way I live him, knowing he won't feel the same. I just stand there, I scoff and walk away, leaving him appalled.

Louis POV-

"I wish you knew.." He muttered as he walked away not knowing I heard.

*i have to fix this*

I stood up to find Zayn. I found him behind the kitchen counter taking shots with some chicks from the party.

"ZAYN!" I yell to get his attention. He didn't notice. I go over and take the shot out of his hand and down it. He turns to me.

"WHAT THE FU..oh hey louis." He looks at me with a smirk on his face telling me he knows what happened.

"Follow me!" Trying to push past the crowd of dancing drunk sweaty bodies. We arrived at the pool where I just had a life changing talk with Harry.

"So he told you?" Zayn said seriously.

"He just told me he loves me! He's my best mate! What am I supposed to do!?" I yell in confusion.

"Dude just go and talk to him about it." He says casually before walking away, re-entering mine and Harry's flat full of people.

*I need to find him*

*~10 minutes of searching later~*

I found Harry in his room face-down on his stomach, chest jerking about, muffled screams coming from his sobs.

*ugh what did I do..he's a mess*

"Harry?" I say just loud enough for him to hear. His body stops and freezes, suddenly pulling the covers over him, causing me to jump.

"Go away! I'm fine!" He says lying through his teeth.

"Harry please tell me everything g you feel inside." I walk over and sit next to him on the floor, criss-crossed, looking up at him. He sits up, eyes red and puffy, his chocolate curls a tangled mess, his beautiful emerald orbs piercing my skin.

*Did I just call his eyes beautiful?*

I shrug off my thoughts as he tries to speak.

"I..I just don't think I can go on pretending that I'm not broken. I can never fill in Eleanor's place like I want to. I can't face that you will never live me as much as her. It's ok though.. I understand you won't and can't love me because I'm just Harry, your best mate. It's ok if you don't want to be my friend anymore, I understand.."

"SHUT UP!" I yell cutting him off, startling him.

"Just because you have feelings for me doesn't mean I see you any differently! You are and will always be my best mate!" He sits there smiling at me like loon.

"I'm really glad Louis that you understand. Ugh you don't know how much you make me crumble. Ill get over it for you. Watch me." He gets up, fixes his hair in the mirror and walks out the door back downstairs to the party.

*What's gonna happen now?*

Harry's POV-

* How am I gonna do this..I got it!*
