avery stanger and her family move from northern virginia to a lake house in michigan. she went to get coffee on her first day there, and 3 hockey players said they knew her brother personally, who play...
later that evening i decided i wanted to say hi to the neighbors, since i had never said hi.
"HEY ALEX!" i yelled barging into his room.
"what's up ave?"
"do you wanna say hi to the neighbors with me? i don't want to go alone. please alexander hamilton?" i said getting on my knees.
he laughed his ass off, "yes, of course i'll go with you."
i grabbed his arm and we got our shoes on. we walked over to the beautiful, wooden house. i decided i would knock.
i knocked and only a few seconds later someone came to the door. the one and only jack hughes.
"avery? what are you doing here?" he asked.
"i'm actually your new neighbor jack."
he had a smile on his face until luke came up behind him and slapped the back of his neck.
jack suddenly became really red and turned away. me and alex giggled to each other.
luke's eyes turned to alex. "hey, how old are you?" luke asked alex,
"i'm 18 what about you?" alex looked at luke.
"yoo no way i'm actually 19! finally someone my age here."
"i know right, my sister is 21 so she never hangs out with me anymore." alex said pouting.
"shut the fuck up alex, you don't even like my friends." i stated pushing him playfully.
jack looked at me, "hey avery do you want to hangout with luke, me and quinn tomorrow? you can bring alex too."
"i'd love to hughes." i said.
"okay great we can go to the boardwalk? i heard it's really nice."
"of course we can do whatever you guys want."
alex was tapping my shoulder when i was replying to jack but i didn't know why. "what the hell do you want hamilton?" he showed me the time. "11:33".
"shit, we're sorry for keeping you guys up this late."
"we are going to eat dinner," i said, "goodnight hughes."
"goodnight avery." he said.
