i woke up feeling refreshed and i looked at the time. it said '9:46' am, so i got up and threw on some comfy clothes.

i slid on sweatpants and a wide neck tshirt that says 'do what makes you happy'. i stumbled downstairs with one of my feet still asleep.

the smell of burnt bread invaded my nose. i scrunched my nose and walked into the kitchen. i saw alex rushing around, opening windows, trying to get the smoke out of the kitchen.

i giggled and decided to jump on alex's back. when he was opening a window, i jumped on his back. "AH!" he let out a high pitched scream.

two people came running down the stairs, it was scarlet and quinn. "what happened?" scarlet asked walking over to alex.

"this big back jumped on me and scared me." alex's head turned back to look at me. i rolled my eyes, when quinn spoke up, "why did you scream like a girl." quinn said.

alex looked at quinn, "you don't live here, why are you judging me?" quinn looked at scarlet, waiting for her to speak up for him.

scarlet just laughed, grabbed quinn's hand and walked out of the kitchen. "we are going out to breakfast!" she yelled.

i heard the door slam and immediately i got a text. i looked at my phone and saw a text from jack. 'want to bring everyone and come over to my dock?'

'sure let me tell everyone. see you!' i smiled and looked up at alex. "get dressed we are heading over to jack's dock." alex nodded and headed upstairs.

i was right after him and walked to isaac's room. i knocked, "are you decent?" i asked. i waited for an answer, "yeah! come in!" he yelled.

i opened the door, "get ready we are heading over to the hughes dock." i said walking back out and up to my room.

i opened my door and grabbed my bikini box. i dumped it out on my bed looking for one to wear today.

i picked out a small orange and blue bikini, went over to my bathroom, and washed my face. i rinsed off my face wash and brushed my teeth.

i went back into my bedroom and changed into my bikini. overtop of it, i put on an oversized mets t-shirt and my birkenstocks. i applied deodorant, perfume, and lip balm.

i grabbed my phone, a towel, and a can of arnold palmer. i walked downstairs and into the living room, where i saw isaac on the couch.

he was in some blue swim trunks and had a mets towel next to him. i laughed, "isaac are we twinning?" i sat down next to him.

he looked at me, "i guess we are!" he patted my head. i rolled my eyes and alex came running into the living room. "LETS GOOOO!" he screamed, running out of the door.

me and isaac laughed and followed him to the hughes household. when me and isaac got to the door, the door was wide open and the cold air from inside hit me instantly.

i walked over to the back door which was open and walked down to the dock. i saw everyone down at the lake. i frowned not seeing scarlet, which meant i was the only girl here.

i sighed as i arrived at the end of the dock and felt an arm around my shoulder. i looked to my left and saw jack. i smiled at him, "hi, thanks for inviting us."

he grinned at me, "of course, you know you are welcome anytime." he kissed my forehead. we sat down and put our feet in the water. i noticed jack looking at me, "haven't i told you the yankees are better?"

i rolled my eyes, "sure, let's go with that." i replied with a smirk at him. he rolled his eyes and rubbed my forehead, "i'm happy that your wound is better. it looks really good." he smiled.
