"I got the letter, Burr. I got accepted at King's College!"

"Are you sure you packed everything you need? You know I'm only a call away-"
John let out an exasperated sigh. "For the last time, Ma, I've got everything. You don't need to worry about me."
"I know dear, I just want everything to go well while you're at college. I want you to do your best, make friends, and stay out of trouble."
He can't help but chuckle at the last remark. He slams the car trunk closed ready to leave, only to be pulled into a tight hug. No words are spoken for several moments, nor do they need to be in that instance. Hesitantly, they separate, John lingering for a moment before getting in his car. Grinning wide, he waves goodbye and sets off on the long drive to King's College.
