Alright, listen up. We all know what you are here for, but before we get into it, we have to explain what defines an "Entity" or a "Monster". We'll start simple.

Now, typically when you hear the word monster, you think of mobs, right? Zombies, Skeletons, Creepers, etcetera. Same thing, right? Wrong. Mobs are a natural occurrence, Monsters are by any means NOT natural. How they come to be is a mystery, because anyone who gets close to them, usually doesn't live long enough to get back to society with the story or any useful information. We'll come back to Monsters in a moment.

Entities, also a word you've probably heard before, associated with animals, boats, mine carts, and more. Common mistake, because that word shouldn't be used for those beings. Because an "Entity" is something MUCH different. Many of you have heard of Herobrine already, correct? He is what you would define as, an Entity. An Entity, is a powerful, sentient being, that can have various abilities and connections to his or her or it's environment. They are DANGEROUS. However, they aren't mindless beings, they can be reasoned with. Some are more likely to listen than others though, so keep that in mind. TYPICALLY, they tend to fall into an easily identified category: human like in appearance, or at least genetic makeup, aka two legs, two arms, a head, etcetera. What differences there can be are many, but they'll typically keep that structure.

Back to Monsters now. Monsters, can also come in many varieties, however, they typically will take the form of something you've probably seen already, like an Enderman. Though they won't look like they should. I'll use the Bedrock Enderman as an example. The Bedrock Enderman, is very unique, in that it stays in one area, bedrock level, and has the appearance of its skin being made of said stone. It's jaw is unhinged, and ALWAYS bloody. It likes to toy with its prey, or so we believe. It's a killing machine, to say less. He, or she or it or they kills anyone or anything that gets close enough, and the few recordings we have of it, were scavenged off of bodies from search and rescue expeditions. This, is how you define a Monster, from an Entity: they don't hesitate. They might toy with their prey, but not in the way that an Entity would. Entities can change their mind on killing you, but a Monster won't give you that hope.

Moving on from here, from here on in, you'll learn about both, and it's danger levels.

Good luck if you meet any of these Entities or Monsters. Notch and Jeb preserve us.
