Family is a Priority
those that we love
who stay through your life
who don't leave when the going gets tough
who doesn't give up on you
family supports you

Family isn't always blood
friends can become family
You can have a work family
or a church family
even a Facebook family

Family is a constant in life
Blood family is a fact for life
Chosen family
can sometimes change
so choose carefully
or you will be left feeling betrayed
feeling like an outcast
that you don't belong anywhere
always wondering what you did wrong
