" I can't handle this much longer" ruby thought to herself. At first it was fine, she could deal with the torment of Freya or the judgement of the other noble ladies but after the tea incident she didn't  know anymore. Ruby knew that it was not very ladylike to fall onto the bed, but she couldn't help it. " I'm just so tired of how they treat me like I'm nothing or some leach the sucks up money" . They have no idea what I've been through, ruby sighs, as long as I don't have to go back to 'that' place then I'm ok, not happy but ok is enough. The last straw was when Ellen started yelling at me about getting her nanny fired. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO" was the first thing she said to me after she barged into my room. I was lucky that I hadn't gone for a bath yet but that was still rude. "ARNT YOU GONNA ANSWER ME? WHY IS MY NANNY IS BEING FIRED, BECAUSE FROM WHAT I HEARD IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT". I sighed in exhaustion, great just my luck. "for 1 please stop yelling and for 2 I didn't do anything I just told Izek what happened at the tea incident". "Lies, for all I know; you could just be using my brothers silly love for you against us." she said to me in hostility. " Our house was perfectly fine until you came along and ruined it in the blink on an eye." She didn't let me respond with anything. She spun around and slammed the door. My last straw broke, although I truly love Izek I can't keep this up any longer. I pack some clothes that I hope will let me blend in and last me until I reach my sister's place. Although my sister wasn't very well known, she still held some power over my father. As dumb as it sounds I still need to leave at least something behind so I write a letter.

you've probably noticed I'm gone but if not, don't bother checking I have already left. I'm sorry, I just couldn't take it any longer. The more time I spent in that place the more I felt like I didn't belong. I know I was never really welcome but you being there made it a whole lot better. Again I'm sorry to leave this way.

izek pov

stacks of paper lined my desk at this point I almost set the paper ablaze but the quicker I finish this the quicker id be able to visit Ruby. Just as I was about to continue work, heavy footsteps could be heard, BAM my doors slammed open. I was about to demand what was going on until I saw how pale he was and fear struck me as he quickly placed the paper on my desk and as fast as he appeared he vanished. I look at the paper trying to figure out why the butler was in such a rush. I stare at the paper and realize that the letter in front of me was from Ruby. I sit down in my chair and read the contents of the paper. Gone, she left. I stand up so quick that a normal person might have gotten sick from the upwards motion but I didn't have time to be sick .I storm to her room, Maids and butlers alike hid in the corners of my vision at one point even my sister joined me. I burst into her room but no one was there. I look into her dressing room to see many of the simple outfits she insisted on getting were gone. None of her more noble dresses were gone and her jewelry was still there. I turn to hear my sister sobbing loudly along with incoherent words. All I could make out was that Ellen had barged into her room earlier and yelled at Ruby because of some incident but the only incident I can think of that would set Ellen of like this is when I fired her nanny. A fire raged in me, something that couldn't be put out even with time. If father heard of this he might actually make me marry Freya but after all that's happened I don't think I can forgive her, no I wont forgive her.

I was halfway to where my sister would meet me. I sent her a letter telling her about what has happened so far and honestly I thing she might have killed someone after reading it. A little background on my big sister. Cecilia is a lieutenant colonel. from what she's told me she typically command units of up to 650 soldiers, containing three to five sub-units. she was always fathers disappointment but me and enzo loved her. Unlike me Cecilia has dark brown hair, hazel eyes and darker skin. The letter I sent her held the contents of me needing to run away along with being able to help her with the medical tents. when I was younger Caesar would punish me for not doing as he said so I had to learn quickly how to help a wound heal. She warned me about a medical exam that I would need to take but I'm quite healthy other than the eating disorder but I'll be fine right.

cecilia pov

My little sister was finally coming to join me although I was happy to see her I was worried. I'd heard the news about the duke looking for my sister and I was afraid she got caught .I knew that she should at least be safer here. I know she wont always be safe in the medical tent and she might suffer from nightmares like the rest of us but she cant go back to the pope or the dukedom so here can be the next best thing.

time skip ruby arrives and takes the medical exam

 One thing that I never expected was the results of the medical exam. "Congratulations they're twins" the doctor said with a bright smile on his face. I looked at Ruby and then she looked at me and then we looked at the doctor. " are you sure" we ask in unison. The doctor replies with a chuckle "positive". He finishes the exam and we just sit there in silence as the doctor leaves. "Is it his?" I ask quietly. " what do you think". I burst out laughing, although I should be mad that my sister is pregnant with the dukes children which in turn makes things difficult for me, I'm glad that my sister will finally have somethings or someones to take her mind off things like a certain someone.
