Chapter 7

[Mason P.O.V.]

"Mason!" Ryan came rushing in the room with tears on his face. He hugged and it brought back the memory of our first kiss.

We were having a picnic and we were laughing and he leaned over and kissed me I was shocked at first but then I leaned into the kiss at that moment I thought that he was the one.

He was crying and I picked up his head and kissed him.

"Hello?! I'm still here!" TJ yelled. I looked up took TJ's hand and we left.

Time Pass

"Alex! I kissed Ryan!" I screamed running into the house.

"Wait what? Why?" Alex asked running out of the common room.

"I don't know! He was crying, I was well and I kissed him!"

"What was it like?"

"It wasn't the same as it was when we were in high school but it was good."

"Go to dinner, see if those feelings are still there, Josh would want you to."

"Ok, I guess I'll ask but don't go making wedding plans or anything, it's just a date, ok?"

"You caught me!" She said in a sarcastic tone. I went over to the messaging tablet and sent the message:

'May I speak with Ryan?'

'You got him.'

'Can we talk??'

'Sure. Where?'

'Just meet me outside the clinic.'

I took my jacket off the coat hanger and tucked TJ into bed.

"Alex, I'm going for a walk. I'll be home in about an hour."

I left the house and started towards the clinic, it was always chilly in the settlement because the heaters are absolute shit, but hey terrorists took over the countries, this isn't a spa resort.

"Mason?" I heard Ryan say behind me.

"Hey, I need to talk to you, about this morning."

"I thought that kiss was amazing."

"I liked it too," my face started to blush. I saw a smile creep on to his face.

"So, I would like to go to dinner with you, on a date." I told him.

"When??" He asked trying to hide his excitement.

"Friday at 6:00, be prompt." I think he was a little intimidated by me, as he should be, but I found it cute.

"Ok, bye!" He said with clear blush on his cheeks.

"Bye." I kissed him on the cheek and left. I started the walk home. I thought about where I could take for dinner. Why did I choose Friday, Friday's are the busiest days of the week. Maybe I could take him to Athena's Garden, that one wasn't to expensive and plus it was run by my friend Olivia.

"Hey sooo, how'd it go?" Alex asked as I walked in the door.

"Well I've decided that we are going to go to Athena's Garden, so I have to call Olivia and make reservations there for Friday at 6"

"Ohh, fancy!" Alex laughed out.

"I'm going to bed, Goodnight."
