The smell of bacon hit my nose, I opened my eyes grabbing my phone looking at the time.

Who tf cooks breakfast this damn early?
I yawned, scrolling thru my notifications as I texted folks back. I seen Nudy FaceTimed me, 30 mins ago.
I called back, he answered on the 2nd ring.
"Where u at?" He asked.
"Goodmorning to you too. Why?"
"Im finna bring Sya"
"Ian home"
"Where u at?"
"I'm Cali with my feet up. It's too damn early"
"It's 10:28"
I scrunched my face. He two hours ahead of me.
I looked up Utah time zone, these folks got a damn mountain time zone. Fuck type shit is this.
"When u coming back home?"
"I'll be back in Lanta next week"
"Next week???"
"I'm on a business trip"
"I'll bring her to you"
"Can't. I don't even know where I am"

"exactly what I said. Take her to one of her aunties or god parents. Where she at?"
"Sleep right now"

I got out the bed, pulling my shorts out my duke as the door opened.
"Ew" Kentrell said, looking at me.
"Okay cuz nigga you coulda knocked, gon catch me lacking"
"Stank booty ass"
I laughed. "Stop playing with me"
"You hungry?"
"Yeah, lemme get dressed"
"You got clothes on"
"These sleep clothes"
"Mhm" he said, walking out the room.
I walked in the bathroom, looking at the view outside from the bathroom. It's so pretty, nun but trees and mountains.
