It was nearly sunset, Mabel in her small tank in the attic while Dipper had his legs curled under himself. Even though he had read the journal for the thousandth time, he just kept going over every detail on each page, making sure he didn't miss anything. He was completely fine, until.... Of course! Why did Mabel have to start singing?! "Mabel can you please stop? I'm trying to read!" He furrowed his eyebrows and lowered his ears to Mabel's yelling. "Why should I, bro-bro?" Ooohhhh, she's really asking for it. "That's it. I'm going to the clearing!"
"Dipper! You can't! Grunkle Stan said not after sunset you can't! And that clearing of yours is past the hunting markers! You could get hurt!"
"STOP YELLING!"
Dipper snorted and walked out the door downstairs. He kicked a hat out of his way, glaring at it. Even though he was twelve, he had horns that prevented him from wearing a hat of any sort. He slowly and quietly walked out the front door to outside, heaving a sigh then continued his normal walking pace into the forest.
~Time Skip Hun .3.~
After a full hour of quiet reading out in his favorite clearing, he decided it was time to get some water for himself. Reading about all the waterfalls and creeks in the forest made him parched. He walked over to the pond in the clearing and cupped his hands, getting some water and drinking it.
The Hunter, Bill Cipher, just had to get lost at night, with all the weird and dangerous creatures in the forest. But he did enjoy one thing about these woods, all the deer. His favorite sport was hunting deer!
But of course, Bill was at the wrong angle, at the wrong time. A tree in front of Dipper's human half, only his lower deer half with cute white spots showing.
Thank goodness Bill had his pistol still at hand, his sniper being snapped in half while fighting off a manotaur. He took his aim, closing one of his eyes then shooting.
Dipper perked his ears then made a loud screech before collapsing into the ground, tears already streaming down his cheeks.
Bill walked over and grabbed Dipper's hind legs, picking him up. He had his eyes closed, wanting to be surprised by his prize. But when he opened his eyes, he was BEYOND surprised.
