ONE — finding the courage and the conjuring
🕸️ • "YOOO NOVA!" The two boys greet the girl as she approaches them as they exit their vehicle. The girl smiles as she sees the boys and their grins. They haven't seen eachother in months, they've just all been busy with doing crazy things. They would have never expected to be doing this with eachother after their lives changed massively over the last couple of years.
"Ahhh! You guys!" Both of the guys hug the girl warmingly, it's only been a couple of months since they last saw each other.
Colby and Nova always stayed in contact, they've always been closer too. Nova loved Sam like a brother but with Colby it was different. They both didn't know how they felt, they just felt connected always.
The group all walked over to the trunk of the car, laughing at eachother and the little comments they made like old times when they were around eachother. They just all fit together perfectly, there was near any competition. Nova put her bags in the back of the car, as the boys sat back in the car.
The airport was packed with people, as she locked behind her for really no reason just her conscious telling her too. Nothing was there, so she turned back around and opened the car door. Throwing her phone onto the seat, as she jumped in.
"How you feeling, Nov?" Sam asked the girl as he started to pull away from the pickup pullover.
"I'm excited, not scared at all."
"Whatever you say!"
She laughs at the boys response, "Sam, I'm honestly going to have so much fun. I can't wait!" The girl didn't realise Colby was holding up his camera and recording the whole time.
The girl looks into the camera and shrugs, without a care. Then with a flick of the switch, he stops recording.
"Nova, Nova. We got a present for you—" Colby smiles as he reaches into his bag and pulls out a small camera. "So as you're a nonbeliever we want you to record yourself like your vlogging. So overnight, or when anything happens we have footage."
"Like anything is going to happen, sure." The girl takes the camera and inspects it. Not really thinking about when she's going to need it.

🕸️ THE CONJURING HOUSE was only ten minutes away, the car had been full with laughter and fun conversations as the friends caught up. They shared sour patch kids, pringles and so much more as they wondered what would happened tonight and over the week. Nova was lying she was nervous, but who would she be to say she was? No way, she was so confident for that.
Somehow Nova had lost something, her cross necklace. "What the fuck?" The girl searched around in the back of the car as both boys looked to her.
"What's up?"
"I've lost my necklace, my fucking cross one." They all made some sort of eye contact, "So I'm fucked?"
The boys didn't say anything as the girl looked at them both waiting for an answer then Colby answered.
"Kinda..."
"COLBY!" The girl hit the boy over the head, as she whinged. "If I get possessed I'm suing you guys."
"Don't say that, we are gonna be fine!" As Sam turned around the corner, the girl was confused.
"Wait, where are we going?"
The boys made eye contact smirking, as the girl sat there confused.
Little did the girl know a few minutes later the boys would make her go onto a ferris wheel, for their intro ( they promised her a mcflurry ). Sam and Colby both recorded the intro as they didn't show Nova on the screen as it was a surprise for their viewers to be seeing her again.
"I'm terrfied. I'm actually shaking in my boots." Colby stated as the camera pans down to his feet as Nova looks back to the boys. They stop recording as the ride started to slow down. All of the kids run off the ride as Nova remains on it.
"Nova, come on dude!" Sam shouts as Nova tries to get off but her foot is stuck to the stupid petal.
"I'm trying!" The girl pulls as Colby laughs and pulls out his phone takes a picture, then runs over to help the girl. Nova tries not to laugh at this situation as everyone stares at her and Colby as he pulls her off the ride releasing her foot and into his arms.
Nova refuses to let go off the boy, as she laughs in embarrassment.
"I won't buy you your mcflurry." Colby threatens and the girl drops herself like nothing happened and walks away with a cheeky smile.
Colby watches her as she runs, he just missed her.
The trio made it back to the car, all now somehow with mcdonald's, they began to drive towards the conjuring house once and for all. Niva made a conscious goodbye to the outside world as she ate her mcflurry.
"This shit is so good." Colby said with his mouth full of raspberry mcflurry.
"I know right!" Nova jested as they all laughed. Nova leaned forward to turn up the radio as Colby turned around right corner and Nova steadied herself by puts her hands down.
One on the seat, one on Colbys thigh.
"Colby!"
"Jesus christ!"
Nova didn't want to die this young so she sat back down in her seat, put her seat belt back on and stared at her phone in embarrassment for the next minute or two while the boys filmed them going up to the Conjuring House. They'd already spoken about how'd she hide until they did the proper iconic intro at the house.
The girl stayed quiet, wondering about the week ahead of her.
