Since time's beginning, Solsta has been home to the fae and all mystical beings. A variety of tribal civilizations were built from the ground up as a means to bring order upon Solstan lands and, for many centuries, there was peace between the Old Clans. However, the racial differences that divided the fae as well as the desire to reign over fruitful lands caused a plethora of vicious battles and wars that destroyed the harmony that used to once exist. Each clan had their own goal of expanding and dominating, and every leader aimed to achieve more power. After many generations of blood being spilled upon the soils and violence plaguing the realms, the winged fae of the sun gained the upper hand and established Four Kingdoms ruled by the One Throne. With the Salamanders being the fiercest and warrior race of the fae, on the imperial chair sat the leader of the sunskins, the King-Emperor of Eferhild.
This period of time had come to be known as Neander's Era.
