As soon as the bell rang, Marinette rushed out of school and to her house. It was a very gloomy day outside, and it was raining, but she didn't mind. She just wanted to see her chatton, whom she missed during school. "Tikki, spots on!"
As soon as she transformed, she swung her yo-yo towards the Eiffel Tower in a hurry.

"Little kitty on a roof, all alone without his lady." "Hey Chat Noir!" "Why hello M'lady," she giggled at his nickname for her. "What were you singing?" "Oh nothing, so how was your day? Tell me all about it." He said with a smile on his face, giving her a quick peck on the lips. "Silly kitty! We have patrol! But I promise afterwards we can talk a little." She said laughing. "Okay. Fine." He said with a pouty look, and then extended his stick heading east. "Chat Noir, you take the west remember?" "Right! Yeah I knew that." He said switching his direction. She gave him a smile. She was so lucky to have met him. What would she ever do without him? She wondered to herself as she swung her yo-yo east, daydreaming about revealing their identity's to each other.

Once patrol was over and they finished talking, Ladybug went straight home. She was so busy with Chat Noir, that she hadn't even noticed the time! They had been chatting for a half-hour! Her parents must be worried sick, and she was right. "Hey momma! Hey papa!" She said running. Downstairs. "Where have you been Marinette, we were worried sick about you!" Sabine said with a worried look on her face. "I've just been up on the roof! I- it- um- it's a beautiful night out tonight! I was just getting some fresh air!" Marinette started getting flustered. "Alright. Wait, isn't it raining out?" Tom asked raising an eyebrow. "Um- I have to go do my homework! See ya later!" Marinette rushed up the stairs and into her bedroom. "That was close Tikki." "A little too close Marinette!" "Yeah, say, I feel like visiting a certain cat! Tikki, spots on!" She swung her yo-yo, and as she suspected, Chat Noir hadn't left yet. "Hey kitty-cat!" "Woah!" He stumbled a little. "Hey! Oh geez, your soaking wet! Here." He handed her a black umbrella with green paw prints on it. "Thanks kitty. Hey, I have something to talk to you about." "What is it?" He looked worried, because she had a sad and serious look on her face. "I was thinking, and it's too dangerous for us to be in love. We would end up blabbing our secret identity's to each other." "What are you saying?" Chat Noir said, holding back tears that threatened to fall from his eyes. "I'm saying, we- we can't- we can't be in love! What if Hawk Moth akumatizes one of us? Then he would have our miraculous, and-" "and the world would end, I know." Chat Noir finished for her. "I'm sorry chatton, but it's too dangerous." She said swinging her yo-yo by her side. "I'll see you tomorrow." She said, tears filling her eyes, and then she went home.
