One day in 1466 in Segovia Castilla Spain 🇪🇸 sixteen year old Isabel was living in castle 🏰 near the Eresma River she was praying 🙏 in silence by herself at the chapel 💒 kneeling on her knees in front of a beautiful statue of the holy Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus in her arms on the other side her brother king Enrique and his wife Juana were busy discussing possible marriage arrangements for Isabel so she can marry a suitable husband from a wealthy and noble kingdom but Juana said to Enrique and his advisers they should be discussing this with Isabel herself and get her consent on the matter if she wants to marry or not. While Enrique and his advisers were having a discussion in the throne room Isabel was in the middle of praying when her friend and lady in Waiting Catalina walked into the chapel 💒 from behind Isabel turned her head around got up from the floor gave Catalina a warm hug both Isabel and Catalina walked out of the chapel 💒 arm in arm heading towards the rose garden which on the other side of the courtyard Isabel and Catalina entered the garden 🪴 sat on a bench together started reading 📖 the play Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare Isabel was reading 📖 the chapter when a young woman Viola disguised as a page named Cesario heading towards the castle 🏰 of Olivia the object of a unrequited and one sided love of Duke Orsino.
When Cesario arrived in the throne room there was an older man standing beside the throne his name was Malvolio the steward but his personality was vain officious and according to the palace staff Malvolio was quite unapproachable and not very sociable in other words most of the staff don't even like Malvolio at all.
