---------------------------------------------------------

[Sunday, 11:05am, 1-A Alliance]

Deku was sitting down in the common room, reading a book. It was a Sunday, and nearly everyone in the class had went out with their friends, but Deku decided to stay at the dorms and train for the final battle against Shigaraki and All For One.

Suddenly, he was approached by one of his fellow classmates, Shoto Todoroki.

"Hello there, Midoriya. What are you reading? You seem engrossed in it." Todoroki said, sitting beside the green haired boy.

"Oh, Todoroki-kun. You didn't go out like most of the class?" Deku asked, putting down his book. "This book is titled 'Every Last Word', it's a decent book. It's quite sad, though." (honestly though, would totally recommend.)

"No, i decided to stay here. The situation with Touya and all.. i think i need a break from it." He continued. "At least for now. My family is trying to process the situation and how we can handle it."

"Ah, i see.." Deku said.

"I'm going back to my dorm. See you later, Midoriya-kun." Todoroki said as he stood up and waved at Deku as he walked away.

Deku was once again left alone in the common room, with silence.

Soon after, he decided he would go back to his dorm room. He stood up and went to his dorm.

Laying down on his bed, he thought about the time he confessed to Uraraka. He could remember it clearly: Uraraka approaching his dorm, him confessing and asking her out, and she said yes. He closed his eyes, smiling and thinking about that memorable moment. He felt butterflies in his stomach that time, and it wasn't quite a nice feeling, but it wasn't a bad one either. In fact, he liked it. He couldn't believe that he mustered uo the courage to confess to her. But what was more unbelievable was that he was now dating her, something he never thought would happen. It felt like almost nothing had changed between them, but they got closer and it was a better feeling than being just friends, or just close friends. He hoped that he could stay with her for the rest of his life and make her his wife.

A few hours later, Deku woke up feeling a shiver down his spine. He ignored the feeling and checked the time: it was 1pm. He had slept for quite a while, and decided to check if everyone had returned back to the dorms. He stood up, his legs feeling a bit wobbly. What's wrong? Deku thought. He wasn't usually like this. But having endured more painful experiences before fighting villains, he walked outside his dorm room.

Deku still wasn't feeling like himself, but again, he ignored it. He had a slight headache, along with feeling weird. Was he sick? Deku shook off that thought and continued heading towards the common room, where he found the whole class there, all chatting happily.

"Hello, Midoriya. Bakugou's making lunch. Were you in your room?" Iida asked Deku. "You seem quite ill. Are you okay?"

Deku nodded. "Yeah, i'm fine. It's just a slight headache, i guess. It's not Danger Sense or anything.. i think i just need to rest."

"Well, you better rest well. We're all planning to go to the cinemas tomorrow, and we don't want you to miss out." Uraraka approached Deku. "Are you sure you're alright, though? Iida-kun's right, you don't seem okay.."

"Yeah." Deku replied, sitting on the couch. "I'm fine, really, don't worry." He said, giving a slight smile.

"Well, if you're not, you should inform us now. Take some medications, sleep or rest well." Sato said, putting several plates on the table.

"Thank you, everyone. I really appreciate it. I will rest well." Deku smiled, closing his eyes. Honestly, he always thought if he had always deserved these kind of friends. Maybe it really was fate he had made it into UA. All of this aas was meant to happen, wasn't it?

"Anyways, Mina and I have an announcement.." Sero said. Deku slowly opened his eyes, and most of them, except for - well, Bakugou, looked at Sero and Ashido. Everyone most likely predicted what they were gonna say.

Silence filled the room for a while, until Ashido opened her mouth to speak. "We're together now.."

Some of the girls squealed in delight. Uraraka wrapped her arms around Ashido, clearly happy for her friend, as the other girls hugged Ashido as well. Some of the guys congratulated Sero, although none of them anticipated this.

"Congrats, or.. whatever. Food's ready." Bakugou interrupted the chattering amongst the class. Kirishima nudged Bakugou's shoulder, telling him to not spoil it, but Bakugou couldn't care less.

Everyone was eating happily, where some of the girls were chatting with Ashido, wanting to hear the whole story of how this happened.

"Well, me and Hanta were just hanging out, and i guess.. we wanted to hang out more often. It kinda escalated to being a date and all and omg omg i don't know but i guess i just developed feelings for him and he surprisingly felt the same way back?! He confessed first and i don't know.. everything happened so fast.."

Deku was sitting beside Uraraka, barely awake, maybe half-awake, and eating his food. Uraraka looked over at Deku.

"Deku, are you feeling alright? Don't force yourself to eat if you can't, you know?" Uraraka worryingly looked at Deku.

"I'm fine Ochako, thanks. I'm just.. a little sleepy, i guess. I just need to rest, you know?" Deku sat up straight, forcing his eyes to open.

It was clear he looked unwell, anyone could tell that. He was just in denial. Obviously though, everyone was worried. He kept brushing the feeling off, saying that he's just tired and needed to rest. After he had finished eating, he went back to his room and sat at his desk. He opened his laptop and studied for a bit.

A while later, he heard a knock on his room door. He slowly went over to the door and opened it, revealing Uraraka.

"Deku, are you really fine? You should be resting on your bed.

This moment reminded him of when he confessed to her, how she was just standing there and asked her a question he wasn't sure how to answer.

"Ochako, i told you.. i'm fine, really. I'm just doing some studying." Deku answered, still in denial of how he was feeling.

Uraraka sighed. "There really is no point in trying to stop you, huh? Well.. do rest, though. Really. Please do."

Deku smiled. He doesn't deserve someone as nice as Uraraka. She deserved better. He wished that he could be better.

"Okay, then." He gave a half-hearted smile.

Uraraka smiled back at him as he closed the door to his room, filled with silence yet again.

He was so glad that he had people who cared for him.

Feeling still a little unwell, he went to lay down on his bed and drifted off to sleep.
