Rihaan's POV

I had an early start today, getting up at 6 am and hitting the gym. Then I came back to my room and did my usual morning stuff. I joined the rest of the family at the breakfast table. They all looked at me expectantly.

"Good morning, everyone," I said cheerfully.

"Good morning, Rihaan," mom said. "You look fresh today."

"Thanks, mom," I said.

Rishabh smirked and said, "Bhai, you're lucky you get to see bhabhi again today."

I frowned, not sure what he meant. "What are you talking about?" I asked.

He winked at me and said, "You'll see."

Then mom came over and said, "Rihaan, you're not going to the studio today. You have to come with me and pick out a ring for yourself. You know you're getting engaged soon, right?"

I tried to protest, "But mom, I have some work to do at the studio. I'll come later, I promise."

Neha ji said, "Rihaan, don't make a scene. You're not going anywhere today. One day at home won't kill you."

I sighed and said, "Fine, mom, I won't go anywhere. Are you happy now?"

She smiled and said, "Very happy, beta."

We finished our breakfast, then dad left for the office and Rishabh and I went to our gaming room. After an hour, mom came in and said, "Rihaan, get ready and go to the jewelry shop with Inaya."

I nodded. I thought of sending some gifts to Inaya, so I ordered some online and had them delivered to her office. I also wrote a note for her.

Just as I was about to get in the car, Inaya called me and said, "You don't have to come, I'll come by myself."

She hung up before I could say anything.

"Hey, wait a minute," I said to the phone.

"What's wrong?" mom asked.

"Inaaya just called. She said she'll come by herself," I said.

Mom looked confused. "Why would she do that?" she asked.

"I don't know. Maybe she's busy," I said.

Mom shrugged and said, "Well, let's go anyway. Maybe we'll meet her there."

Then I reached the jewelry shop, where Maa is waiting for me. Yes, I call Inaya's mom Maa now.

INAYA'S POV

I arrived at the office and quickly sorted out all the files in my cabin. I had a lot of work to do and I didn't want to waste any time.

Then my PA Priya came and said, "Ma'am, the meeting room is ready. You should go, everyone is waiting for you." She looked nervous and eager.

I told her, "You go ahead, I'll be right there." I checked my phone for any urgent messages and then put on my coat and headed to the meeting room.

The meeting was long and exhausting. We discussed a lot of important issues and made some decisions. I was glad when it was over.

After three hours, when I returned to my cabin from the meeting, the whole cabin was filled with flowers, chocolates and teddy bears.

I couldn't believe my eyes. It looked like a scene from a romantic movie. I was very surprised and also annoyed by who did this. Who would do such a thing without my permission?
