Two days later,

Inaya was hoping for a simple engagement at home, since the wedding and reception were going to be at a hotel. She was getting ready with the help of Maanvi and Shanaya, while Rihaan's family had not arrived yet.

She heard a knock on the door and opened it, expecting to see her parents. Instead, she saw Rihaan standing there, holding a bouquet of roses.

Inaya looked at Maanvi and Shanaya, who winked at her and nodded. "Sure, come on in. You guys go ahead, I'll join you in a bit," she said to her friends, who left the room giggling.

He smiled and said, "Hey, beautiful. I hope you don't mind me coming early. I wanted to see you before the ceremony." Inaya felt a surge of anger and annoyance. She hated him with every fiber of her being.

She snapped, "What are you doing here? Get out of my room. You have no right to be here."

Rihaan frowned and said, "Come on, Inaya. Don't be so rude. We're going to be engaged in a few minutes. Can't we at least pretend to be civil?"

Inaya glared at him and said, "No, we can't. I don't want to pretend anything with you. You're the worst thing that ever happened to me. I wish I could get out of this contract marriage."

Rihaan sighed and said, "Look, I know we're not in love. But we have to do this for our families. It's only for six months. After that, we can go our separate ways and never see each other again. Can't you just cooperate for once?"

Inaya shook her head and said, "No, I can't. You make me sick. You're arrogant, rude, selfish, and heartless. You don't care about anyone but yourself. You don't deserve me or anyone else."

She grabbed the contract paper and threw it on his face. "Sign and go from here." she said, her voice cold and angry.

He locked the door behind them and they signed the papers that bound them for six months in a marriage they didn't want.

He threw the pen on the table and said, "There, it's done. Happy now?"

She shook her head and said, "No, I'm not. But we have no choice, do we?"

He sighed and said, "No, we don't. This is what our families want. This is what society wants. We have to play along."

He looked at her and said, "Do you hate me?" She looked back at him and said, "Hate is a feeling and I don't have any feelings for you."

After a while,

Aaru and Abhay arrived at Inaya's house, they met her parents. Then, Aaru went looking for Inaya.

Rihaan had spent enough time in the room, so he decided to head out. As he was about to leave, he saw a little girl enter the room. She looked curious and excited.

Aaru found Inaya in her room, zoning out. But when Aaru hugged her legs, Inaya lit up. She picked Aaru up and kissed her cheeks, saying, "Mera baccha, when did you come and so late?" in a baby voice.

Rihaan was shocked to see this side of Inaya. He had never seen her so soft and loving before. He was also jealous of the way she was treating Aaru.

Aaru said in a complaining tone, "You know Hukum Sa will never get rid of his work, no matter how much I say. And you know they yelled at me too." She said this with tears in her eyes.

Inaya knew that Aaru was acting, so she said, "We'll tell Hukum Sa that he got angry at our princess."

Rihaan wondered who Hukum Sa was and why Inaya was thinking about him so much. He was jealous .
