''We've dinner with the Rouxs' today, bring Alice if you want, be there at 7pm. Be there Charles.'' I read the text from my mom.
Ugh.
I forgot my mom and Mrs. Roux are friends. After all these years.
I remember just telling my mom Victoria and I just broke up for no reason.
Victoria. I haven't seen her since I broke up with her ruthlessly in school. I felt so bad about that right after I walked away from her. I remember hearing her crying and running out of school.
I was horrible to her the last few months of our relationship. We were so young. I wonder what she looks like. She doesn't really post on social media. I found her account on Instagram but she had no posts then. Recently I looked again and she was gone private.
I guess I'll bring Alice to the dinner. I better text her.
''Hey babe, I have a dinner today if you want to join me?'' I sent the text throwing my phone on the bed. She's definitely going to agree to go, anything for her publicity.
I hear my phone ding and roll my eyes as I walk to the bathroom.
Alice and I have been arguing a lot recently in private, but when It comes to public settings 'we're madly in love', I gave up bothering.
The 4 and a half years we were together were great, no arguing, nothing, only she would throw a fit every once in a while over me now showing her enough affection in public but it just didn't feel right, it felt weird, but again I shrugged it off.
Recently though, she has been a right pain in the ass.
I take a quick shower and start getting ready for the dinner.
I decided on a simple black suit, with a white shirt and a gray tie. Simple, my favourite.

I finally look at the text. ''Yay! Of course! I'll wear your favourite black dress ;)'' I just left her on read.
I fix my hair in the bathroom and look at the time on my watch.
18:25 | 6:25pm.
I should probably leave now and get there early. I have to pick up Alice along the way too.
I get to Alice's apartment to pick her up and she gets into the car, I opened the door for her to avoid an argument. Last time I didn't open the door for her she threw the biggest fit in public.
I didn't wanna go through that again.
We arrived at the restaurant. I park the car in the restaurant parking and go to open the door for Alice.
