Hi readers!

Hope you all are enjoying the festive season. I am back with another update from Mehbooba. Life is turning beautiful for Arnav and Khushi. The two are trying to heal each other. Amidst Akaash and Payal's wedding, Arshi are busy sharing cozy moments. However, this time a specific person might not like this reunion.

Dressed in a black sherwani Arnav Singh Raizada stood in the backyard with his friends beside him. The magnificent wedding decor made him proud. His girl possessed the skills of a ninja. The place looked so warm and welcoming. No one would be able to tell that this farmhouse had caught fire a few days back. And Akaash Oberoi looked dapper in the wedding outfit, as he sat next to the fire waiting for his would-be bride.

Looking at his left and right Arnav shook his head. NK and Aman were still staring at him, with gaping mouths, unable to accept the fact that Khushi was willing to give him a second chance. He had heard NK asking Aman to call an experienced senior psychiatrist for their beloved friend's delusions. Unfortunately, Khushi had been super busy with Payal so he did not get the chance to explain himself along the living proof. Henceforth, rather than getting into countless arguments, Arnav Raizada patiently awaited Khushi's arrival. And he did not have to wait for long, as a few seconds later everybody welcomed Payal Sharma with huge applause as she descended the stairs, visible to everyone, as the double door to the backyard was open wide, accompanied by his smiling girl.

Arnav Singh Raizada could not believe his luck. Khushi Kumar Gupta resembled a queen as she stepped on the landing, clad in an orange gown. The girl did not look up in his direction, as she made her way to the mandap along the bride. But her scarlet face was enough for Arnav to know that she had sensed his presence. He smirked and continued to watch her like a hawk. He was about to move towards Khushi when Aman's words reached his ears.

"I don't get it at all. You are super happy. Khushi is all red. And look towards the stairs, looks like Rajeev turned into a widow or something."

With a sweeping glance, Arnav noticed the heartbroken look on Rajeev Sharma's face. One does not need to be a genius to know what must have happened between him and Khushi. He now understood the reason for the embarrassment laced on Khushi Gupta's features. She continued to stare at the blazing fire where now a shy Payal and Akaash sat, performing their marriage rituals. Arnav clenched his fists trying to control the rage bubbling inside him. His girl must have declined Rajeev's proposal and now she is being consumed by unnecessary guilt. Arnav cursed himself mentally for not consoling Khushi. He should have known that this was the first thing she would do without him to clear her conscience.

Slowly, in a subtle manner, he advanced to the girl who owned his heart. Amidst the garland - ceremony, as the crowd cheered for Akaash and Payal, Arnav made his way to Khushi. She stood behind the elders with a fake smile plastered across her face. Knowing what he had to do, the man casually joined Khushi and entwined his fingers with her small ones. For the first time, his move did not startle her like always. Rather warmth filled his heart as she softly leaned her head against his arm. With a small smile, he caressed the back of her hand with his thumb and whispered in a husky voice.

"It is alright. Don't feel guilty Khushi. Tumhari koi galti nai hai. Its good to be honest in such situations."
(It is not your fault).

"Really? Toh phir humein bura kyun lag rha hai?"
(Then why am I feeling sad?)

"Give him time to come to terms with his feelings, Khushi. Tum jaisa dost kismatwalon ko hi milta hai. Haan kuch dumb log bhi hote hain jo tumhara dil tod dete hain. Aur phir unko bewakoofon ki tarah dusron ki shaadi mein bin bulaye aake maafi maangni padti hai."
(Your friendship is only meant for a few lucky ones. And then certain dumb people break your precious heart. And then such people end up gatecrashing weddings in an attempt to apologize for their errors).
