Chapter 7

I woke up to a massive headache. I sat up and realized i wasn't at my apartment nor my bed. Took my phone out and saw thousands of messages and missed calls from Kate. Then i heard someone snore a bit next to me. IT WAS LUCAS. Wait what. Then it slowly started to come back to me. The dancing, the annoying guy and then...oh god...what have i done...
I tried to get up slowly and quietly but then heard
L: now you wanna leave me ?
M:....no...i just wanted some water...
L: wait here, I'll get you some and a painkiller too.
I sat there like a good little girl. He came back upstairs with water, two painkillers and a chocolate. It was cute. I smiled and sat back under the blanket. He sat right next to me. Stared at me and then said..
L: Hey. About yesterday. I just wanted to ask. Can you give me a second chance. I really didn't think everything through. I fucked up and im sorry.
M: well i..i should tell you that after the IG story. Someone called and threatened me. And then at the cafeteria some girl came and told me to stay away from you.
L: Oh no. That's Carmen. She's the crazy ex who made me like i am. Like she was my first time. And i guess you could say she broke me into million pieces and i had to glue myself back together and some pieces were missing and then i started to look for them in girls. But none of them fit.
M: oh...im sorry
L: No.. don't be... it's not your fault. I should be the one that's sorry because she messed with you. If she ever talks to you again please tell me...i really want to make things work between us. And i know that she will try to ruin it.
I just nodded and looked at him with worrie. I couldn't even imagine how hard it was for him. And then i remember i should send Kate a text that im good and I'll meet up with her later. And so i did. Kate isn't usually worried but her reply to my text was to meet her in an hour.
We ate breakfast and i gathered my stuff and left.

At Kates apartment

I told Kate everything and she was quiet for a while then she sai
K: well i know you feel bad for him. But you should still be careful. Especially if there's a crazy ex in the game. I just don't want you to get hurt again.
M: I know. And im thankful for your care for me. I told Lucas that i wanna take things slow from now on. Even though we slept together but starting a relationship and being in one needs effort from both of us
K: exactly...just take things step by step..and be honest with each other...
We chatted for a while and then i got a call...
M:Hello
Anonymous: I told you to stay away from him. Can't you just listen. I'm coming for you...
Call ended...

K: Who was it?
M: it was Carmen....ughh... I'll text Lucas....I don't want to keep this from him
K: Yea, you should

I told Lucas what happened and he asked to meet up. I wasn't sure it was a good idea but agreed anyway.
We met up at the local park. Walked around and talked about what Carmen could do and how crazt she can be. Lucas came up with an idea to post a selfie of us on IG. I told him that it would drive Carmen more mad, but he said that was his idea. So we took a very cute picture and he posted it. And as we thought few minutes later i got a call...but this time Lucas answered
C: Hey bitch. You're really looking for trouble aren't you?
L: Hi Carmen, it's Lucas. It's hard to see that I've moved on and found someone who cherishes me, isn't it?
C: L...L...Lucas...hey...how...um..how have you been...I miss you...
L: Look, I really like Ly and if you care about me you will leave us alone. And if you don't...
C: Lucas, baby, i think we should meet up...grab a coffee or something....
L: Carmen, stop it. Listen how crazy you sound.
C: Lucas, babe, let's meet up, I'll come to the park, wait for me
L: No. Do not come. I don't.....

Carmen ended the call...

We were in shock and just left the park and went to my place to watch a movie and cuddle. Luckily I didn't get any calls throughout the evening and we could relax. We fell asleep on my couch. It was so relaxing and i wanted it to last forever... Everything was perfect til i heard a loud knocking on my door. I got up quietly so i wouldn't bother Lucas. I opened the door and i couldn't believe my eyes. It was....
