I never thought my life would change after meeting the one. I can't picture what my life would be like if we hadn't have met. Well, I kind of can, I would be sitting alone on the sofa, snuggling up with my dog watching Bridget Jones on repeat. That was alright for a girl who was 15 and never had a boyfriend, people would accept that. That's why I did that... until when I met him. But now my whole life changed...he's changed me.

I think we should start my story at the beginning.

"Asha, get up you're going to be late for school!" My mum called from downstairs. It was 6:30am on a Monday Morning...the worst day of the week. I chucked my big heavenly duvet off me and lay on my bed, trying to get my eyes to adjust to the morning sun beaming through my window. It took me a while to realise that in an hour and a half, I would be trapped behind a desk in English instead of roaming about in my own privacy at home. I stumbled out of bed and trudged into the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and my hair was as big as Snooki's off Jersey Shore. I brushed my hair through and climbed into the shower, I let the water run down my body as I sang my heart out to 'Call Me Maybe.' Personally, I thought my singing was amazing but my mum thought otherwise as she banged on the door telling me to quieten down.

I climbed out of the shower and wrapped my towel round my head and my dressing gown around my body and walked back into my room. I opened my wardrobe and picked out my school uniform and slung it on my bed. My school had seriously no fashion sense, the blazers made you look humongous and the skirts made your legs look fat and short, I mean are they trying to get us bullied? Anyways, this was the only thing we could wear to school so I threw on my clothes and stumbled downstairs.

"Hi hunny, do you want some toast?" My mum asked as I walked into the kitchen. She was wearing her 'Me to you' pyjamas and pigtails in her hair, she looked like a big kid but I still loved her.

"Yes please my dear mother." I giggled as I went other to her and kissed her cheek. You're probably wondering where my dad is in this whole situation. The truth is I have no idea. He left me and my mum when I was just 10 months old and I haven't had any contact with him since. Whenever I ask mum about him she always says, "The only thing you need to know is that we're better off without him." I didn't mind not having a fatherly figure around us; I guess my mum took the role of him. I've just always wondered what it would be like to have a dad who you could climb on top of his shoulders when you was watching a parade, teach you how to ride your bike or even discipline you when you came back late from a party. But I guess I would never experience these things, I had my mum and she was the best parent I would ever have. She was my world.

As soon as the toast pinged out of the toaster, my mum handed me them on a plate and I scrambled back upstairs to dry my hair. Whenever I dried my hair I always liked to pretend I was on one of those make-up adverts, where their hair would swish around and they would say, "You're worth it." Knowing this would be the only thing that entertained me throughout the day was depressing; I turned off my hairdryer and looked at the time. It was 7:15. I was supposed to meet my best mate Jordan at 7:30, so I rushed over to the mirror and applied a small amount of makeup, grabbed my school bag and ran down the stairs. I ran into my living room and walked over to my mum who was busy watching Jeremy Kyle.

"I have to go to Jordan's now, see ya later!" I said as I kissed her cheek.

"Okay, remember not to get into any trouble!" I giggled as asking me not to get into any trouble was the impossible.

"Okay, I promise!"

I put on my shoes and walked out the house closing the door behind me as I made my way down to Jordan's. Today was not going to be fun.
