Heyy gals/guys!

It seems like this chapter posted as a new story, so I had to reupload it! Sorry for any complications!

So sorry I haven't been as active as I hoped I would. Exams have been a pain! But hopefully I'll have no surprise exams coming up so you may be able to read the next chapter soon!

P.S THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR 1.8K READS! MEANS THE WORLD TO ME!

Chapter 7

Why hasn’t he called me yet?

It was now 7:30pm and I’m sprawled out on my bed, clutching my phone. My bed isn’t the biggest so most of my body parts were hanging off the side. My room’s not that big either, if you first walked into it you would probably think it was a store cupboard. Next to the door there is my wardrobe which is basically stacked full of clothes. Hey, a girl does like to shop! Around my room, the walls are painted an awful, girly baby pink colour. I’ve forever wanted to change the colour to something more neutral since I was like 7 years old but my mums never got the time or energy to do it. I did try to paint the walls myself but let’s just say, thank god my poster of McFly was able to cover my ‘experiment’. Oh and yeah, that’s another thing you should know about me, I’m basically in love with all bands. Busted, McFly, One Direction, Goo Goo Dolls, you name it. That’s why whenever I see guys who play in a band or who has a musical talent, I immediately fall for them.

Like George.

Ughh, why I am so bothered. It has now been 4 hours after he said he would call me. What could he have been doing for 4 hours straight what would have meant that he wouldn’t have been on his phone at all?

Cooking a big meal? Watching a very long movie? Gone to a place where there is no phone signal?

Oh. Who am I kidding. He won’t call me. I’m just a nobody. A big weirdo. I don’t wear huge amounts of makeup or wear short skirts. No guy would bat an eyelash if I walked past.

I’m no Melody.

Even though George even commented on how bad her makeup was, that seems to be the sudden "hot" look.

Wait, why am I so bothered? He’s just a boy. A typical ‘womanizer’. He just draws girls in and spits them back out again when he doesn’t want them anymore. A stupid boy.

Who is absolutely drop dead gorgeous.

But who cares if he calls me or not. I don’t care. Right now, I should be cuddled up on the sofa with a lovely hot chocolate, watching Eastenders. So it’s his loss if he calls me, I’ll be downstairs.

I got up from my lifeless position and started to trod out of my room. I’d rather watch drama on TV then have it in my life.

*Bzzzz* *Bzzzz*

Wait. Oh my god. I sprinted back to my phone, faster than Usain Bolt. So fast in fact I managed to clip my little toe on the side of the door.

“Oh buggar. Not now.”

*Bzzzz* *Bzzzz*

I hobbled over to my phone and watched the screen light up. What do I do. Oh my god. During my 4 hours of waiting I had been practicing what to say. It was both going to be calm and collected with “Oh, who is this? George…George who?”, or it was going to be a flirty approach with “Oh hey there dimples.” I wanted to make sure I did it right or I know for sure he wouldn’t call me back. Ever.

However, my mind started to change when the time went by. Let’s just say, it was not going to a very nice approach. But now my mind has just gone blank.

*Bzzzz* *Bzzzz*

Maybe I shouldn’t answer it. I mean, he wasted 4 hours of my time so he deserves to wait a little longer for me to pick up. But then he might think I’m not interested.

WHEN I SO AM.

Wait Asha, you’ve only just met the guy. How is it possible to be interested in a guy when I’ve only spent a little less than 1 hour with him. I never use to be like this. In primary I used to think all boys had germs and whenever we had to sit boy and girl I use to squeal. But now in high school I just see guys as either a mate or someone who needs to be kicked where the sun doesn’t shine. Never as a love interest.

Oh how the time has changed.

*Bzzzz Bzzzz*

Oh get a grip Asha. Answer the damn phone.

I flipped up my phone. Yes, I have a flip phone; I cannot afford to buy the latest technology so this has to do.

I pressed the answer button.

Why am I shaking? Come on Asha, control yourself.

“Hello?” My voice imitated whispered with a slight wobble.

“Heyy! Why do you sound so nervous, it’s only me?” A familiar voice spoke.

Wait, that isn’t no drop dead gorgeous, guitar playing hunk.

“Jordan?”

“YES? Who wouldn’t it be?”

Ah yes. It had to be Jordan. I do love having conversations with my best mate but not when my future Prince Charming may be trying to ring me.

Prince Charming? What am I turning into?

And before you ask, my phone does not have all that ‘Caller ID’ technology.

“You have to be quick Jordan because I’m waiting for a very important phone call.”

“Oh, and who is more important than me. If it’s the Queen I would understand but that is it.”

“Oh no-one highly important.”

“Well that means I can talk to you then.” She can be a little annoying sometimes but that’s why I love her.

“Go on then. What do you want?”

“Well, a little birdy told me there was a little row in the detention room. Apparently some guy stood up to Orange faced Mel when she tried to attack on a defenceless soul. So I was just wondering if you knew anything about this?” Gossip spreads fast ay. Well it’s actually been 4hours but still.

“Seems like you summed it up in one go.”

“Ah yes, but do you happen the mysterious guy and who the victim was. I think you do.” I knew she knew exactly who the victim was.

“It was me. No big deal, I get slate from her all the time.”

“I guessed that. But the big question is who the knight was in shining armour?” Now she got down to the actual point she called.

“He was just that guy from this morning. You know the one –“

“Who has terrible driving skills and who made you not compute for about 5 minutes. Yes I know him.” Jordan interrupted. I could tell that she hadn’t had the best first impression of him.

“Well yeah. George did.”

“Oooo so the guy has a name. I heard that Mel and that George guy were hitting it off?” Just hearing both their names in the same sentence makes me fill up with jealously.

“Well, turns out they wasn’t. In fact I definitely know they’re not ‘hitting it off’ because he asked for my number.” Oh my god. Why did I say that? The green eyed monster took over my words and I couldn’t help myself.

“Oh really?!” Her voice sounded as shocked as I did when George asked for my number. “So is that who you’re waiting for a phone call off now? Well, don’t let me stop love blossoming! Just make sure you call me straight after he calls!” Before I could respond she put the phone down.

Yeah, only if he does call.
