Months have passed and even if i'm still sad about my uncle Sirius death Theo has helped me recover for the most part he even came to stay with my parents, my brother and I at our house for the two weeks following the end of the school year. Now the death eaters have been becoming more and more active during these past months. The guys write to me as often as they can but with their parents around they have to be careful. They've even told me some things never went into detail but when they did I would automatically tell my parents so they could rely the info to the rest of the Order. Summer being over and now being able to use magic outside of school grounds my dad agreed to let me get to Hogsmeade station by myself and so I sent my bags and pets to Hogwarts yesterday and today it's my turn to get there so I take my wand before dissaparating from my bedroom and a few instants later apparating at Hogsmeade Station. I smile looking around finding my girls not to far away. I walk up to them with a smile.
Astoria: Hey Iz ! How was your summer ?
Me: Meh it was alright I got to learn a few new spells from my parents and finished the book I was given at Christmas on Runes
Pansy: Of course you did !
Selina: Well we'll talk more later tonight in the dorms let's get to Hogwarts now !
We all smile and start to walk towards the school. After walking for a few minutes we decided to all use Accio to get our brooms so we could race fly the rest of the way. Selina obviously won seeing as her brother was Quidditch Captain when he was in Hogwarts. I got in second, Pansy got third and Astoria got last place. We left our brooms in the place they're supposed to be safely placed and left for the Great Hall. We walked and laughed all the way to the Great Hall once Inside we went to sit at our table still talking.
Pansy: I swear Sel your summer was definitely the funniest ever !
Selina: That's what happens when you have brothers !
Me(sees Maya and smirk): I see with my little eye Selina's girlfriendddd !
Selina(get up with a small smile): Shut up Izzy (turn around and see the guys) and I see your boyfriend walking inside the Great Hall just now
Me(whisper-yell): He's not my boyfriend !
Selina(walking away): Keep telling yourself that Iz !
I roll my eyes as Pansy and Astoria just start laughing. I cover my face with my hands as the guys make their way to our table. I sighed and tried to get them to shut up until the guys sat down besides us.
Mattheo(confused): Why are they laughing like maniacs ?
Me(as they start to laugh even harder): Don't worry about it it's not worth knowing
Pansy(stop laughing): it soooo is !
Me(give her the death glare): It is not
Astoria(holding her laughter back): it is
Me: not
Pansy: is
Me: not ! Don't make me use silencio on the both of you !
Blaise: Now we know it's worth knowing
Me(sigh exaspared): it's not !
Random hufflepuff(from behind me): Rosier said Nott was Lupin's boyfriend
Me(turn around my wand out): Silencio !
I exhale loudly giving them my pouting face as Dumbledore started talking.
Dumbledore: Greetings to you all, first off let me introduce to you all the newest member of our staff Horace Slughorn
Me(as Dumbledore continue to talk): Slughorn as the Slug club founder ?!
Tom(nod): Yup the one and only
Mattheo(mumbles): great now everyone's looking at us
Me(frown): why's that ?
Pansy(whisper): Dumbledore just told everyone why our luggages were searched
Tom(sigh): because once upon a time our father was also a student here like us and so with everything going on they're not taking any chances
Me(give the death stare to hufflepuffs at the table besides us): You Hufflepuffs mind your own damn businesses will ya !
Teddy(runs up to me): sissy ! I'm an Hufflepuff like mommy was !
Me(smile at my brother): I saw that munchkin and I'm proud of you I know mom is gonna be happy that you're in the same house that she was
Teddy(look at Theo): hey Theo !
Theo(with a smile): hey there kiddo
Me: Alright darling you should go back I'll see you around
Teddy(running off): Okay see you around Izzy ! Love you !
Me(chuckles and yell): Love you too munchkin
I got up and looked over at Selina and Maya who were deep into a make-out session. I chuckle before turning to our group.
Me(smile): How about we throw a little something in the common room at the end of the week to celebrate the start of a new year, Tom becoming Prefect and Astoria becoming Head Girl !
Pansy(get up excitedly); Such a good idea ! Let's get going then we have a lot to plan
Tom: I don't th-
Me(interrupting him): you don't have a choice Riddle !
Theo(chuckle): once she got an idea she doesn't back down so Don't try to argue
Tom sighed as Astoria chuckles while getting up.
~~~~~~ (few days later)
Me: Of course I'm going to potion I want extra credit too !
The girls chuckle as we make our way to potion class. We walk in a bit late our Advanced potion book in hand.
Slughorn(as we walk in): Ah miss Lupin, Parkinson, Greengrass and Rosier nice to have you join us !
Pansy: sorry if we're late professor
Slughorn: Don't you worry now come take a stand besides the others Slytherin will you girls
Me(smile): thank you professor it won't happen again
We took a stand besides the guys as Slughorn was talking.
Slughorn: now as i was saying i prepared some concoctions this morning can anyone tell me what these might be ?
Me, Hermione and another Gryffindor girl raised our hands as fast as we could waiting for Slughorn to choose who'd be answering.
Slughorn(look at Hermione): yes miss
Hermione: Granger sir (walk up to the first potion) this is veritaserum it's a truth serum walk to the second one) and that one is draught of living death (walk up to the third) this is amortentia the strongest love potion in the world it's rumored to smell different to each person depending on what attracts them, for example i smell freshly mown grass and new parchment and spearmint toothpaste
Slughorn(as Hermione walks back in her place): now amortentia doesn't create actual love that would be impossible but it does cause powerful infatuation or obsession for that reason (as half the girls including Pansy and Astoria get closer to the cauldron) it is probably the most Dangerous potion in this room
