Twas' the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a thing was heard, not even a mouse. This mouse smelt flesh, fresh and divine. What kind you may wonder would smell quite this bad? Something big rotting, it made quite a stink. Could it be the ham, carved in the sink? No! Not one animal could cause this you would think! What was that gruesome stain, marking the floor? And what was that lump lying by the door?! As you step closer, holding your nose, you can see this lump, wearing clothes! Feeling sick, you feel for the light switch. What could it be? Of course! It was a dead body! Holding back the vomit that was crawling up your throat, you look a little closer and see a note. It read "Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you enjoy this present from me to you! And remember there's always room for you too!'' Shuddering with horror, you look for a phone, suddenly hairs on your neck stand up, and you realise you're not alone.
"Hello." a voice purred in the darkness. "W-who's there?" You tremble with fear.
"Santa Claus, of course my dear!' the voice chuckles. And out of the shadows stepped out the psycho killer. A great red velvet coat cloaked their face, but they still moved with a elegant grace.
"Christmas is about spreading joy! And lucky for you boy, your next in line!" Circling you now, like a hungry lion, you think to yourself "Is this how I'm dying?!" Terror roots you to the ground, and you wish you could just drown. Why did it have to end this way?! The perpetrator grabs a glass ornament from the christmas tree, and stabs it into me! Draining blood like a leaky faucet, blackness engulfs me, he sets up my death like I was a sucidee.

Murder at Mistletoe Mansion
Misterio / SuspensoThis piece was for school-free writing, and I decided to combine a rhyming poem and a murder. The main character is unnamed so you can better imagine you are the helpless victim. I am super proud of this piece. If any has questions please contact me...
