I awoke with a sudden thought of me jumping off a cliff as I flinched.

I always woke up like this.
Sometimes, I felt like I had slipped, jumped and so on.

Nobody was there to wake me up so I had to wake up by myself every day since my childhood.

And I didn't know why I couldn't wake up from the sound of my alarm but I thanked god that this happens.

Yes, it was kind of infuriating to feel like I was getting thrown every morning but what could I do anyway?

I realised that I had been staring at the ceiling from a long time as I sighed.

I had been zoning out a little too much lately. As I was now sitting on my bed, I started to gawk at a showcase that was kept near my bed.

After a few minutes, I finally gathered my will to go through this day as well. Honestly, I felt alone, so damn alone.

I had many friends, like so many friends in my university but even with a group of friends, I felt lonely for some reasons.

I finally got up and leered at myself in the mirror as I tittered.
At least, I looked personable everyday.

These were some little things that helped me pull through the day.
I meant, believe me, you wouldn't want to live if your family would make you feel like their mortification every single day.

So yes, I was just surviving and not living.

I soon realised that I had again zoned out.

Sighing, I went inside my bathroom, following my normal routine for the day.

I was as always getting ready to head out of this living hell which was also known as my house and go to my university when a shout left me with distress.

That shout came from my dad.
No, his shout was not filled with anger. It was rather contented and exhilarated.

The difficulty stood where his excitement made me a mess and that always occurred.

What I meant to say was, 'his excitement= something dejected would happen with me'

I, with fast steps exited my room and looked down at the open area of the mansion, holding the fence of the corridor.

My room was at the second floor and my father was standing on the ground floor, in the open area.

He gave me a sweet smile.
Oh, something bad was definately going to happen.

He signalled me to come down so I nodded and ran down the stairs.

I was in such a hurry to follow his instructions because of the fear I had for him. Yes, I was a coward but it was what it was.

As soon as I reached infront of him, I looked down, avoiding eye contact with him.

"I have a good news for you.", he said, patting my back. His touch left me with a shiver. I nodded and forced a smile to spread on my lips.
