My body touched the soft bed as I sighed, a sigh of distress? Maybe.
I didn't know the reason of my sudden dangerous mood swings.

One moment, I felt happy that she's back, then..uh, I felt sad seeing her with him..?
I didn't know.

I didn't know what she wanted to tell me about her ex but what I saw was enough, right?

"Taehyung, I know that what we have is not love. I know that this marriage is out of business and not love"

I sighed again when these words came running into my mind.
Yes, these words changed my mood completely.

I knew..I goddamn knew that this all was just for business but thinking about it didn't sit well with me.

"Ugh" , I mumbled.

I closed my eyes, telling sleep to come so that I can forget about this. So that I escape this long shit of overthinking.

I sighed, thinking how-

My heart became faster when I heard the door open, indicating that she was here.

But wait she was just here, right?
Yea, just here.

Why and how could I forget that we are married and we would live in the same room?!

I shifted my leg and my whole body to a corner, forming a small curve.
I pretended to be still asleep though.

"Taehyung, you are so...so..ugh I don't know! Why are you throwing tantrums? What did I do? You don't even tell.", she angrily let out.

But why did she assume that I was a heavy sleeper? I mean, what made her think that her yelling won't wake me up?

But wait, she said that I'M throwing tantrums?!

I have never liked someone scolding me.
Even a little different tone made me tensed. I felt weird, unsafe and strange so I stiffened my body.

I hoped that she just sleeps now and forget about my tantrums (?) tomorrow.

"Quit pretending"

Uh nuh

"I said quit pretending, baby."

BABY?!

Who was I to not listen to her, right?

I slowly opened my eyes, following by a sigh. I sat up straight on the bed and looked down, feeling her glare killing me.

"I-"

"Please don't shout."

How did I get the guts to request this?

And all of a sudden, she went silent.
The only sound that could be heard was of the clock.

tick - tock tick - tock

I couldn't think straight anymore.
I moved my hands towards my head and carresed it.
A lot of voices were yelling in my head.
Each had different things to say but their voices were same.

this horrible anxiety, I swear to God

I flinched when I felt a hand caressing my back. I immediately looked beside me to see Naeun looking at me with concern.

"First of all, let me clear the air.
My ex is like this with every other girl. I know that it cannot still justify that I didn't stop him but I promise I will from the next time."

She took my hand that I
was earlier caressing my head with into hers and kissed my fingers.

I, who was now looking at her with my mouth opened couldn't move anymore.
The heat spread all over my body.
My cheeks that were turning red slowly were hidden by my hands that I snatched away from her.

Oh no God!

"Oh my god, you are so cute.", she said as she giggled so I also looked down and smiled.
My brother said so many wrong things about her. She's very sweet!

"Taehyung"

This time, her tone took a serious turn.
I looked up and raised my eyebrows.
"Yes?'
"You panicked just because of my raised voice. What's with that?"
Uh nuh
"I- nothing.. really."
"Do I look that stupid?"
"No, Naeun. I know that you know something is up and..I will tell you but please, not now."

I was myself shocked of how comfortable I had become with her.
I mean, maybe not but you know? Ugh I didn't.

She sighed and put her hand on my back. "Okay"

"Let's sleep..?"

I nodded, ready to sleep on the couch so I got up and started walking towards there and not to lie, I was expecting her to stop me.

"Taehyung, we will sleep together."

Huh?!

I looked behind to see her with my shocked expressions.
"What?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yea..?"
"But i-"
"No buts. Just sleep on different side.
And just for today, I will tell the helper to clear another room tomorrow."

Oh..
"Oh"
"Sleep now, I will first freshen up. Good night!"

She went inside the bathroom.
I looked behind me to see the couch, still considering sleeping there but..she said..no buts.
