"But I don't want to go" Temi whined as she plopped onto Zay's bed.
"Tee you already agreed so don't go back on your word" he huffed as he tried to pull her up.
"That was before I knew you lied to me" she frowned.
"I didn't lie" he rebutted.
"You did. So now I'm not going."she said wiggling out of his hold.
" I may have downplayed it but I didn't lie." He said sitting down next to her.
"Exactly, you knew if you told me the full truth I wouldn't have said yes, you withheld the truth from me so you lied" she said scooting away from him.
"Okay. Your right and I'm sorry, I just want everyone to meet you and I know you don't want to meet my whole family at once but they are excited to meet you" Zayvier apologised.
Temi had agreed weeks ago that she would go to a small family gathering to meet Zayvier's family, she agreed to go for a day when it was in fact a weekend away at Soho farmhouse with Zayvier's entire family, but once he revealed this Temi felt as if she were being ambushed especially because Zayvier knew she wasn't exactly a people person, she expected the truth not just in occasions like this but always.
"You know that if the roles were reversed you wouldn't even think about going so why do you expect me to?" she argued scrunching up her face, Temi wasn't even bothered about going anymore she was more angry at the fact that if the roles were reversed Zay would've thrown a fit."We don't lie to each other Zayvier. We don't downplay I literally only ask for honesty, I'm not even annoyed I would have gone if you asked but you didn't"
"I hear you" he nodded.
"Why am I annoyed then?" she asked feeling he was only complying so she would hurry up.
"I lied."he said blatantly.
"Exactly and that's why I'm not going."she smiled as she got up, knowing that would piss him off.
"Temi you can't be serious" he jumped up.
"Oh but I am" she smiled turning to face him" don't do stuff that will piss me of then except me to not be pissed off"
"My family is expecting to see you Temi, what am I gonna say when I show up without you?"he frowned.
"I don't know"she shrugged nonchalantly."You can figure it out on your way there. Without me"she sang, she knew she was being stubborn and childish but she didn't want Zayvier to feel like he had won.
"Are you being serious?" he said following her out his bedroom door.
"Why wouldn't I be Zay, your actions have repercussions hence why I'm not going at all".
"Don't talk to like I'm a child. I understand your angry but that shit won't run."Zayvier stopped the pair.
"I'm not, I'm explaining something you clearly didn't understand. You thought you could push my boundaries and I would let you."
