Chapter 13

it was Jacob. "oh...um hi Jacob what are you doing here" I asked not wanting to sound rude. "oh nothing just hear you got hit by a car" he said with an amused look on his face he sat down on the chair next to me "how are you Horan" he asked punching my shoulder. I winced at the pain and he looked at me with a stupid smirk on his face. I shrugged off the pain and responded to his question. "I'm doing better..." he leant in close to me as if he was going to tell me a secret "so Horan I know you have been in the hospital and all...but...um have you popped little Emma's cherry yet? the boys and I really want to be cool with you but....you have to do the deed first" before I could respond I heard a small gasp and we both looked towards the door only to see Emma with discus and tears in her eyes. "excuse me Niall...but WHAT DID HE JUST SAY?!" she said walking in and slamming the door. "oh umm well I should be going Horan see you at school" he said walking towards the door and around Emma. she stared at him with hatred in her eyes as he left the room. "Emma I can explain!" I said hoping she would let me. "what Niall your just using me so you can be 'cool' and have 'cool' friends huh is that it" he asked I could tell she was holding back tears. "no not at all Emma! I went to talk to him about his offer of being friends because I really wanted to not get beaten the shit out of everyday and if I was his frie-" I was cut off by Emma "GET TO THE POINT NIALL" I took a deep breath "the only way I could be his 'official' friend was if I took your virginity...but Emma I knew you wouldn't have done it so I was going to tell him his friendship isn't as important as our relationship" I saw amusement in her eyes which was weird "Niall...you think I would sleep with you.....why because I'm too 'scared'?" she said I was so lost "what I never said th-" cut off once again "what am I too innocent" "i-i don't know I'm really lost right now" I said "Niall its not like you have gotten any either your still a virgin too!" she screamed and then laughed to herself. "Emma what are you saying?" at this point I was getting angry "Niall if you are only with me to 'get with me' then j don't want to be your girlfriend I want a guy who can respect me and actually care about me" now she is just being confusing! "Emma I do respect you and I will wait....honestly I don't even think I am ready for that kind of relationship..." I admitted looking down at my hands in my lap. she paused for a second. "then what would you agree to that stupid deal!" she said waving her arms in the air with anger "I told you earlier I was going to tell him I cared more about our relationship then his friendship" she took a deep breath and leaned her back against the wall and slid down to the floor. she pulled her legs up to her chest and hugged them resting her head on her knees "Emma...are you okay?" I asked looking at her. "yeah...I guess I just have a bad experience with that topic thanks to Jacob...sorry I blew up on you" she said and lifted her head to look at me. I scooted over in my before to make room for her and patted next to me. she smiled and got up walking over to my little hospital bed and she climbed in next to me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and she cuddled into my chest. "Emma its fine don't be sorry" I said holder her tightly. "Niall..." she spoke so quietly I could barely hear her "yeah?" I said looking down at her "when I do loose my virginity....I want you to take it...." she said and looked up to meet my gaze. I didn't say anything just shook my head in agreement she held out her pinky "pinky promise I will be your first and you will be mine?" she asked. I locked out pinkies "I pinky promise" she released my pinky and cuddled back into my arms. I kissed the top of her head and we just stayed like that for the rest of the day until we fell asleep.
