I had made it very far I'm the competition but almost got kicked off. I was placed in a band with 4 other boys Harry Styles he has curly brown hair and green eyes. Zayn Malik he has jet black hair and brown eyes I think he is Muslim. Louis Tomlinson he has brown haired and blue eyes. and lastly Liam Payne he has brown eyes and brown curly hair. together we are known as One Direction. they are all from England I am the only Irish one. through out our experience on X-factor we have all became very close, we have a bunch of fans that we love and a very busy schedule but every day I still find time to Skype, call or text Emma! it was one of the final competitions on X-Factor and tonight we got too see who goes through so me and the boys were getting ready for the results. we were all super nervous when the names were called of the people going through to the next round our name was not called. we were devastated all out hard work gone to waste once we got off stage we were all in tears. I called Emma to tell her what had happened. "hey Niall did u guys make it through I couldn't catch the live show sorry?" she said through the phone I let out a sniffle "no we didn't make it" I said still slightly crying "aw babe I'm sorry to hear that but just remember u made it this far this is huge for u" she said trying her best to sound excited so I wouldnt feel bad. I couldn't believe it was all over. me and the boys had already exchanged numbers earlier when we met. We all said out goodbyes and agreed to stay in contact. we had a group hug and we all were crying. I went back to the hotel with my mother and backed my bags then my phone e went off.

*incoming call* Simon

I was a bit confused and answered the call. "hello Niall?" he asked "yeah its Niall what's going on?" I asked surprised at his call. "yes I have talked to the other boys already and I can't let talent like yours go to waist, I am agreeing to sign One Direction to a record label come bye tomorrow and sign the paper work" he said and I could hear his smoke through the phone. "OH NY GOD SIMON THANK YOU!!" I said jumping up and down kinda like a girl but who cares! Simon laughed a little "well see you tomorrow Niall" he said "yes u will bye simon thanks again" "bye Niall" and that was the end of the call. "Niall honey what just happened" my mom asked very confused "simon agreed to sign One Direction!!!" I said she screamed with excitement and gave me a bear hug "I'm so proud of u son" she said crying just slightly "thanks mum I couldn't have done it without u" I said "I need to call Emma and tell her!!" my mom laughed and whipped away her tears. I got my phone and dialed Emma's number "hello" she answered "Emma simon is gonna sign One Direction" I pretty much yelled "Niall that's amazing! I'm so happy for you! but when are u coming home I miss u!" she said I instantly felt my heart sink its been so long since I have seen her "soon love, soon" I said with a serious voice, "I heard a few sniffles come from the phone "Emma are u okay?" I asked "I'm fine...I just really miss u Niall" she said and I could tell she was crying. "I miss you to babe I will be hone as soon as possible I promise" I tried to sound reassuring "okay well I have to go Niall I love you" she said taking a deep breath and hanging up before I could respond. "I love u too" I whispered and put my phone down sitting on my bed putting my head in my hands. I knew once me and the boys got more popular me and Emma would drift apart. that's the last thing in the world I want to happen I have loved her for as long as i can remember. I took a deep breath and lied back on my hotel bed. I stared at the ceiling for about 3 hours before finally falling asleep.
