Lydia arrives at the bicycle parking at school. She locks her bike and sees Allison and Maddie parking next to her. They lock their bikes and the three of them walk to school together. Allison says: "Did you hear the news? Iris died last night. She was found in a dark alley and had a bite wound on her neck." Lydia asks: "She was at the party too, right?" Allison answers: "Yeah. She was there too." Maddie says: "She sat next to me in math class. She was pretty nice." Lydia says: "Yeah. I wonder who killed her. I mean why would someone want to kill her. She was always nice to everyone." Allison says: "Nobody knows what happend or who did it. The police are still trying to find evidence." The school bell rings and they walk inside. They walk to their class and the teacher is standing in the door opening. While walking into the classroom, Lydia says: "Hi Miss Hartman. I hope we're not late." Miss Hartman says: "You're right on time." and she closes the door. They have math and Iris's seat is empty.
