Genesis.

"Genesis get up and get ready for church!" My Dad Yelled, "and hurry up. I cant be late; I'm the Pastor!"

I sighed before sitting up and tossing my cover off of me. I stood up and walked to my closet to find something to wear. I finally decided on what I would wear. I settled on a a mid thigh link dress that was white at the top and pink at the bottom, with my white sandals with flowers on them, circle diamond earrings, and my white flower headband.

I put that all on my bed and walked into the bathroom. I started my shower water, testing to see if it was to hot or too cold. I got undressed and stepped in the shower.

Thirty five minutes later I was showered, brushed my teeth, dressed, and was downstairs finishing up my cereal.

"Come on Genesis and Faith!" My Father yelled while walking outside to his car.

I rolled my eyes and put my bowl in the sink then walked out to the car, taking my place in the backseat.

Soon my mom,Joyce, and my little sister, Faith came out and got in the car. My mom sitting in the passengers seat and Faith in the back next to me.

I looked at what my sister had on. It was okay. She had on a black high-low dress, black flats, and a diamond bracelet. Her hair was in a messy bun. While mines was wavy.

She saw me looking at her and mugged me. "Boo, I hope you like what you see."

I made a face then rolled my eyes," What is there to see? All I see is a scrawny-no booty having girl who looks like she could be Samuel L. Jackson's daughter." I chuckled a little.

She gasped and whispered in my ear. "But I get boys though." She leaned back and smirked.

I scoffed and turned to looked out the window. I heard her chuckling.

I headed downstairs into the Church basement where Sunday school for the kids between 2-6 was held. I have to go downstairs and watch the kids while church was going on. Some of the kids are Angels while the others are just Demons. I know I'm not supposed to talk about peoples kids but them some of the kids that I watch are horrible. They need to discipline they kids.

I sat down on a bench by the bottom of the stairs and waited for the kids to come. After three minutes of waiting most of the kids came downstairs and I told them to go do whatever they wanted just be quiet. I know I'm supposed to be teaching them about God and Church but I didn't feel like it today so I just let them play around.

"Genesis, Jerry pinched me." A little girl named Jessica said.

"Jerry don't pinch people; that's not nice." I scolded the little boy.

I heard someone coming down the stairs and turned to see who it was. It was my Mom.

"Bring the kids upstairs we're wrapping up." She spoke before turning around and making her way back up the stairs.

"Come on everybody. Time to go upstairs, but be quiet." I told the kids.

"Okay, Genisis." They all said at one point.

We made our way upstairs and sat in the back of the church and watched the choir sing a Gospel song.

Take me to the king

I don't have much to bring
