The sunlight peaking through the curtains wake you up. You reach over to feel for Evan next to you. The bed is warm, but he is not there. You close your eyes and roll back over. "Mornin' babe." you hear from behind you. You turn to see Evan holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers. "Happy Anniversary honey." you say sitting up. Evan walks over to you, "We've got a lot planned for today. Get up and get ready." he says with a smile. You get up, grab the flowers and set them on the nightstand before pulling Evan in for a kiss.

"Little black dress or denim skirt with blouse?" you ask yourself. You put on the outfit of your choice then head to the bathroom to do your hair and makeup. Just as you're about done, Evan walks in and hugs you from behind. "Beautiful as always baby." he says as he nuzzles his nose into your neck. You giggle and turn around to face him. "So what exactly do we have planned?" you blush. "It's a surprise." he says as he kisses your forehead and leaves the bathroom.

You and Evan drive up to your favorite breakfast place. He opens the car door for you and helps you out.

After you've eaten, Evan takes you to a museum you've been dying to go to. "Oh my gosh, I've been wanting to come here forever!" you say excitedly. Evan smiles and grabs your hand to walk you in the entrance.

"Next up is lunch in the park." Evan says to you, helping you in the car. Evan stops by the downtown market deli to go in and grab the lunch. He comes back with your favorite sandwich, chips and drink. "I know it's not super fancy, we're saving the fancy for later." he says with a laugh. You smile and place a hand on his face, "I'm just so happy to be yours."

Evan finds an open spot in the park to set a blanket down to eat.

With full bellies you both lay down and watch the clouds. "That one's a pig." you say with a snort. Evan laughs and roles over to kiss you. He still gives you butterflies. You both sit up to pack what's left and make your way back to the car.

"Now you choose what's next, bowling or laser tag?" Evan asks. You chose the one you want to do, "I'm gonna kick your butt!" you say with a laugh.

"Ahh you were right (y/n), you did kick my butt." Evan says as you both leave the building. You smile and kiss him as you get back in the car.

"I've got one more thing planned for us." he says. You raise your eyebrow, thinking "What else could there be?" Evan holds your hand on the way home.

Evan opens the front door, "Go on up, unwind and change into comfy clothes." he says. You nod, "Okay baby." While you take off your makeup and put on your comfy clothes, Evan begins making dinner. You come down to see him setting the table. "About 20 more minutes and dinner will be done." he says while winking at you.

"Mhhm this is so good babe!" you say with a mouthful. Evan smiles and wipes his mouth, "What movie do you want to watch?" he asks. Your eyes light up as you say your favorite movie. Evan laughs, "Okay, I guess we can watch it for 100th time."

Evan holds you as you cuddle up close to him while watching the movie. You look up at him and say, "Thank you so much for today baby. You mean the world to me." Evan kisses your forehead, "Of course sweetheart. I love you with all my heart (y/n)."
"I love you with all mine." you reply.

The night ends with you in each others arms, falling asleep on the couch as the ending movie credits roll.
