Late Afternoon some weeks later . The scene is a house veranda. Sarah who is Anuoluwa's Mom is washing her clothes. Anuoluwa enters,greets her Mom and seats some meters away from her,looking on.
Anuoluwa: Well-done Mom. Good Afternoon ma.
Sarah: Afternoon Honey. How are you?
Anuoluwa: Fine ma.
Sarah: ( Looked up from what's she is doing ) Anuoluwa, have you started your menstruation ??
Anuoluwa: What's that Mom?
Sarah: Menstruation is the time by which a girl or woman menstruates, there a flow of block from her womb use once a month.
Anuoluwa: Ohk!! I've been seeing blood coming out from my vagina for some time now. So is that it Mom?.
Sarah: Yeah bit why didn't you tell me all this while?
Anuoluwa: Mom, I had thought it was a normal thing and it would go.
Sarah: How can you think that way Honey!!. Please any strange changes you feel,see or notice in or on your body, do not hesitate to tell me. Okay?.
Anuoluwa: Yes Mom.
Sarah: I'll give you money to buy a sanitary pad at the pharmacy. That's what you'll are to use whenever you see that blood or menstruating.
Anuoluwa: Yes ma. But what is a Sanitary pad Mom?
Sarah: Good question! Please always ask questions Ok .Questions are never too much to ask be it at home or in school.
Anuoluwa: Yes ma.
Sarah: Sanitary Pad is a thick piece of soft material that's used for absorbing liquid or the blood coming out of you.
Anuoluwa: Okay.
Sarah: Are you still seeing the blood?
Anuoluwa: No Mom.
Sarah: Okay here's the money. Go and get the pad at the pharmacy. Be quick please.
Anuoluwa: ( Collects the money and rushes to the Pharmacy) Good Afternoon ma.
Ruth: Afternoon. How're you doing??
Anuoluwa: Fine ma, I wanna buy a Sanitary Pad.
Ruth: Okay the Pad is Three Hundred Naira.
Anuoluwa: Ok please give it to me. ( Collects the Sanitary Pad and exit back home ). Mom,I've bought the Pad.
Sarah: Great. If it comes again, make sure you use the Sanitary Pad.
Anuoluwa: Okay Mom but I don't know how to use it.
Sarah: Don't worry, once it comes I'll teach you how to use it.
