Walking through the woods, I suddenly caught the intense aroma of cinnamon biscuits. The maples surrounding me were adorned with large, yellow and orange leaves, glistening with dew drops in the early morning light.
I decided to follow the sweet scent, and on that path, I came across a small house nestled in the heart of nature.
"Here they are!" I exclaimed excitedly upon noticing the long-awaited autumn desserts.
To my surprise, a beautiful girl with long, golden hair appeared at the window. She gave me a careful glance before smiling and saying:
"Come in, I was waiting for you". Although I didn't know her and wasn't sure what she meant, I was curious enough to step inside that comfortable home.
When I look back at the choices I've made in the past, this moment was the one that changed the course of my life.
At the time, I knew it was the right thing to do, but I never could have predicted how much of an impact it would have on me.
I found love, and to this day, it's still shaping my life for years to come.
