...
The next day, Himari was now in front of what seemed like a mansion, a really big mansion. Himari stared at the mansion with disbelief as her mouth was wide open.
How and why they are here leads back to what Akira told her last night in the hospital.
...
"Moving!?" Himari said in shock.
"Yeah, we have to move away from the house and enroll in a new university." Akira said.
"I understand the university part but why are we moving?" Himari asked.
"We have to live somewhere close to the university for an easy commute. Didn't you think of that?" Akira said as he flicked Himari's forehead.
Himari pouted as she was rubbing her forehead. "What about the rent I paid?" Himari mumbled.
Akira's eyebrows started twitching. "You're my girlfriend now. So, I'll spoil you with lots of money. So don't worry about that chicken change." Akira said while patting his chest.
Himari blushed a little. "Well okay, so where are we going to?."
Akira grinned. "You'll see tomorrow."
...
That's what led to Himari arriving at a massive mansion. Himari wasn't done recovering but she was allowed to be discharged with the condition of her moving around in a wheelchair until her leg felt better.
When they were in front of the mansion, the driver informed Akira of their arrival. "Sir, we have arrived." The driver said.
"Okay, thanks for driving. I appreciate it." Akira said sincerely.
The driver felt moved by his boss's sincerity. "Oh, please sir. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have a job. So it should be me who should thank you." The driver said while he bowed slightly.
Akira was flustered. "It's okay. Please, raise your head."
The driver did as he said and got up to open the door for him.
Himari felt something in her heart when he saw the relationship between Akira and his subordinates. Even though Akira was their superior, he still talked to them with respect. He respects all his subordinates regardless of their age - To be honest, it was much better than how the Fukushima family treated their servants.
Akira got out of the car first and then brought out Himari's wheelchair. Then, he carried Himari out of the car. Himari was flustered by Akira's sudden action.
"H-Hey, what are you doing?" Himari stuttered.
"Calm down, I just want to put you in the wheelchair. If I wanted to do anything else, it would be when we are alone." Akira said with a grin.
Hmph! Get a grip! Himari thought.
Akira placed Himari on the wheelchair and started pushing her to the door. Himari was still mesmerized by the structure of the mansion. It had a modern look but it also looked like a castle from a fantasy story.
Wow! This is the wealth of the Watanabe family.
As they got closer to the door, Himari could see a middle-aged man in a butler uniform and a middle-aged woman in a maid uniform waiting at the door. When they were in front of the door, they bowed and welcomed Akira and Himari to the mansion.
"Welcome Master Akira and Miss Himari." They said.
"I told you guys to stop waiting out here to welcome us. It's summer and it's getting really hot lately and you guys are getting old. You should be resting." Akira said with a worried look.
"We understand that you are concerned about our health, it's our job as maids to welcome our master back home." The man said.
"And we have a special guest who will be staying with us as of now. So we have to make a good impression." The woman added while looking at Himari. The woman smiled and then continued. "You are welcome Miss Himari. If you need anything please don't hesitate to call on me. I'll happily attend to you. "
"Thank you for the hospitality." Himari said nervously.
Himari felt awkward about the hospitality she was receiving. For most of her life, she has been a maid receiving guests and attending to her master but she has never been on the receiving end. So it felt kind of weird.
Akira looked like he remembered something and then turned to the woman. "I forgot to ask, is she around?"
"Yes, Miss Miwa is currently in her room. Should I inform her of your arrival?" The woman asked.
"No!" Akira said quickly. "Please, don't inform her of our arrival. The last thing we need is unnatural proactivity." Akira said.
"Alright." The woman bowed and then opened the door.
When Akira was about to enter the man whispered something into his ear so that Himari wouldn't hear what they were talking about. But Himari seemed to be talking with the woman so they don't need to worry about that.
"The sir is asking for you to see him. He's really worried about you, you haven't talked to him in a year." The man said with a hint of concern in his voice.
A glint of hatred could be seen in Akira's eyes before it turned back to normal before anyone could notice. "Tell him to focus on pleasing his mistress rather than worrying about me. Not like he cared about me in the first place."
"But sir, he's your father. " The man said.
Akira scoffed. "My father? My father died a long time ago." Akira stopped talking to the man and continued pushing Himari's wheelchair. "He sold his life to that useless bitch who called herself my mom." Akira said it quietly so that no one could hear him.
As they were walking through the corridors of the mansion, Himari scrutinized every nook and cranny of the building.
There was a total of seven floors. The last floor seemed to be where the recreational activities take place. This floor contained the dining hall and kitchen. It also led to the backyard which had a big pool in the center and multiple gazebos surrounding the pool.
The second and third floors were the living quarters for the maids and butlers. The fourth floor was where the indoor gym was located.
The fifth floor seemed to be occupied by someone, probably Akira's relative. The sixth floor was their floor with a mini kitchen and a dining table. They had a really big sitting room but what stood out to Himari was that there was one bedroom.
"Hey, why is there only one bedroom?" Himari asked looking confused.
"Oh, you don't know why?" Akira said while turning the wheelchair so that Himari would be facing him.
Himari blushed. "W-What are you doing?"
Akira got closer to Himari. Himari made eye contact with Akira and it seemed like his green eyes were glowing. The thing that Himari couldn't take her eyes off was Akira's lips. It was as if his perfectly pink lips were attracting her, telling her that she could have a taste.
"I want to give you a glimpse of what is to come. " Akira said as he leaned closer to Himari and puckered up his lips. Himari had no way of escaping this time. She could only allow Akira to do what he wanted as she closed her eyes and braced herself for a kiss.
The moment their lips were about to touch someone barged into the room.
"AKIRA!!!" The person who barged into the room jumped on Akira.
"Akira, you're back and you didn't tell me." a girl said while shaking Akira.
Akira had an annoyed look on his face.
Ugh, why is she here?
Himari just sighed in relief, she was saved from the hands of a sexy beast.
But who was her savior?
The girl looked up and saw Himari. The girl's eyes seemed to sparkle when she saw Himari.
"Let me introduce myself." The girl said as she stood up from Akira's body.
"I'm Miwa Watanabe, Akira's step-sister."
