Hamilton ordered another round of shots for him and his buddies. He hardly knew their names yet, as they had met today, but they were his buddies. When the shots came, they took them, cheering to a revolution that their drunken minds enacted out in front of them. One of the people Alex remembered, Aaron Burr, got up to go.
Alex asked, "going home so soon?"
"Yeah, I've gotta get back before I get too slammed. New campaign starts tomorrow, and I hope that you'll join me, Alex"
"How about I walk you home" Alex said.
He walked home with him and decided to spend the night. In the morning, Alex woke up early and left, walking back to his place uptown. He couldn't stop thinking of Aaron, but he wasn't sure why. He got dressed and made himself some coffee. He sipped it away, thinking of the revolution. He finally made his way on the streets, back to Aaron's house, where his supporters were waiting. Aaron said a quick hi, then pushed him onto the podium for his speech.
"I-I can't do this" Alex ran off the podium and started to hate himself for this drunken idea, and to hate Burr for supporting it
