Chapter Forty-Four - The Post Office

Afton walked out of Home and looked around at the scenery, it was beautiful but also terrifying at the same time. He looked around for the post office and quickly found it. "Perfect, I can get that file and end all of this." He muttered as he carefully made his way over to the post offices.

"Springtrap! It's nice your out! You can help us looked for Bendy and David now!" Banbaleena smiled as she walked over to Springtrap. Afton quickly looked at her and faked a smile. "Oh hey Banbaleena- I'm still not really feeling well still- I was just- walking around-" Afton lied as he picked at his decaying fingers.

"Oh- but then- why are you heading to the post office? Why would you want to go there if you don't feel well? That doesn't make sense Springtrap." Banbaleena stated as she walked closer to Afton, who was slowly backing away. "I just wanted to look around- this place is really- interesting?" Afton shrugged as he stared at Banbaleena.

Banbaleena heard Wally call out for her in a distance, in which she quickly ran over to him. Afton gasped in relief, he thought he almost got caught, he stood there for a few moments before quickly heading to the post office.

He opened the door quietly, it looked- disgusting- but Afton didn't mind. He was used to such- filth- that it didn't bother him. Especially staying in fazbear frights for a bit, that place was gross! There were all different types of bugs in that building- wires just out and about, ready for someone to just light it on fire and burn the place immediately. And the teenagers- they didn't respect the place after it opened- they treated that place like some hook up party- but of course, Afton took care of its.

"Just find the file Afton, it's not that hard." He muttered as he walked inside, looking for some filing cabinet or something. He found a desk and quickly looked through it. "What is this?" He muttered as he pulled out a letter from someone named Frank. He looked at the letter that was covered in heart- a love letter- talking about how much Frank was so happy to be with someone named Eddie.

"I wonder what happened to them? The only other person I've seen here is Barnaby. " Afton muttered as he held onto the letter. He continued his search for the file, but wasn't lucky. He found another letter, he picked it up, reading it carefully.

The letter talked about the TV censoring Eddie and Frank's relationship, stating how Frank was forced to be ship with a character name Julie. "TV censorship, how common. I remembered when I was writing something for Fred bear and friends, trying to explain to be nice to everyone, no matter what gender, race, or sexuality they are. Of course- I should've know- the TV studios didn't like that." Afton muttered underneath his breath as he set the letter down.

Springtrap finally found the filing cabinet in the mail room, and quickly picked through it. "Finally, after I find this damn file, I can burn that damn house to the ground." Afton grumbled as he looked through the files.

He started to get aggravated, he couldn't find the file- he looked around the room and saw more filing cabinets. "Are you fucking kidding me?" He growled as he closed the one he was looking at and looked at the one right next to it. "It has to be in one of these things." He muttered as he continued to look through them as quickly as he could.

After ten or so minutes, and looking through five different filing cabinets, he finally found the file. "Finally!" Afton smiled as he looked at the file. It was covered in drawings, it seemed as if Wally found it and had drew on it before.

Afton quickly hid the file on him and walked out of the post office quietly. "Springtrap?" He heard a voice muttered. Afton looked over and saw Bendy. "Bendy? Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with David?" Afton asked as he looked at him.

"They found us, we all ran- I don't know- I don't-" Bendy was cut off. "-Know where they went." He finished as he too a deep breath. Afton sighed and looked down. "Shit- ok- ok, you hide in the post office, and only come out when I tell you to, ok. I'll find David, and then finish off my plan." Afton demanded as he pushed Bendy into the post office, walking into the post office with him, demanding Bendy to hide.

Before Bendy hid, he asked,"But won't they know your working for us?" Bendy asked as he looked up at Afton. "Trust me, they won't find out." Afton said as he walked out of the post office and closed the door behind. Afton was worried about being found out, but if he stuck to his plan, he would fine. He can't think about those worried now,  he need to look for David before the others do.
