**Dracula POV**

As Aesira's heartbeat slows, a strange calm settles over me. I find myself smiling at her peaceful expression, a sensation foreign since the loss of Lisa nearly four centuries ago. In the year 1475, emotions I thought buried resurface as I hold Aesira closer, using my magic to summon a blanket and gently cover her.

**Aesira POV**

Waking, I feel warmth and cold interwoven. Dracula still cradles me against his chest, engrossed in a book until he notices my awakening. "Did you sleep well, Aesira?" I apologize for dozing off on him, and he responds with a genuine smile, surprising me. Dracula explains, "It's fine; you looked so comfortable that I didn't want to move you." His brief vulnerability disappears as my growling stomach shatters the silence.

Hungry, Dracula carries me to the kitchen, where he sets me at the dining table and prepares breakfast—eggs, bacon, and water. After eating, he guides me to his library, indulging my request to read to me. Time seems to lose its meaning as we sit by the fire, and I can't help but steal glances at his handsome face.

Internal Aesira Monologue

"Wait, what am I saying? I'm a Belmont, and he's Dracula, the Vampire King!" I mentally scream at myself. Confused by the unexpected attraction, I question, "What's happening to me?"
